ya think................................................................... I got tired just reading all that.

My CHORE LIST---

***Power Wagon canopy and bed shipped from AU. Looks like arrival on the wagon is mid to late October. It'll be in and out approx. 3 weeks. Dealer is doing the suspension. So all I'm doing now is the canopy, bumpers, sliders and shorty rack.

***62 is coming in for 80 axles, 3" tapered coils, 34s, adj shocks, 5 speed, custom bumpers and rack (all aluminum)

***Another will get a 80 frame swap under a troopy.

***I've pretty much quit taking fabrication orders at this point and for the rest of the year. Just standard parts orders now.

***Finish Dingo

***Little by little work on Woodstock (69 piggie) will be grafting 80 series suspension components on 62 axles and making a true pickup out of it. Got most of the components drawn and into CAD today for the front.

***Then waiting to see if my guy in Dubai will come through on the new crate 1HD-T that will be mated to the 5 spd and new TC. This will all go in a coiled 60 series and be sold. If the 1HD-T doesn't happen then that build will get a R2.8 Cummins. Bellhousing for it to the H55F is on the shelf waiting patiently.

***PLUS looking for a bigger shop or need to acquire another 3000 sq ft unit in my current complex and make it the wrenching room. It would free up room in my current unit to expand to a couple of more tools I want for TT.

A lot going on right now for one person.

1HDT to h55 bellhousing? I was under the impression that HZ’s had that but not HD’s. Is this a OEM bellhousing?

Excited to see how you approach the coils on the 62 axle. That may be more cost effective than a 80 front axle swap on my rig.

BH on the shelf is for the Cummins R2.8...

Need to swap in a different input shaft unless you already have a fine spline input on the H55F.

IHD-T mated to H55F

Fine spline (needed) vs std spline (note length as well to accommodate for proper BH depth.

Jeez dude, talk about business growth and rapid expansion. It is great that things are working out for you J. I am a little jealous. Wish I could trade my job for what you have!!

For the past few years I kept scaling back because I didn't want to grow and wanted to stay happy with it being truly a hobby business. Now that I'm getting older and feeling it, we decided to reduce fabrication services to the public and put that time into builds.

Main fabrication will be for my parts offerings and for the builds moving forward.

When I have enough money for a custom truck, I know where to go for an awesome build...!!

Dude....!!!
You are like a workshop of awesomeness

I just like to be different and I can see body lines. There's a good chance the piggie cab will get shorter..

Always down for custom builds!

As I stated in my piggie build thread.... A majority of my builds are rated NP

AJ and I are loving the extra space to wrench in.... It'll be filled up soon enough though!

Trans and cooler lines done, radiator hoses, most of the brake lines are finished up. Earl's braided stainless nylon hoses are damn nice. I'll get the fuel tank welded out and brackets made next week.

Have a great weekend all,

J

Did you move the lift or am I loosing my mind?

Donor firewall was torn down and the clean up has started. Will paint the dash this week and get it ready to put back together next weekend. New heater core and expansion valve installed.

Gauge cluster will get the SpeedHut gauges and the console will start soon.
