Not familiar enough with the area to offer an opinion. we stayed to open trails down low (from memory = lupine > gunsight cut off or something like that??).....I recco contacting a local bike shop for better intel....
Good deal, I will be in the area this week so will have a first hand report! LOL.
I have never been on that side of CB. Will have to check it out someday. Hopefully you were able to hit some of the single track north west of CB. Some of the best single track riding you will ever find.

I'm really digging your twin-top tube titanium gravel bike.
thanks! I’m very pleased with how it came out. Took a bit to get used to it as it’s my first drop bar bike but there’s nothing I’d change if I did it again.

Start of a 3 day trip at elevation off the colorado trail near Leadville
Mia’s pool. A claimed place of worship. Hoping to dive in after a 15 mile ride but not sure I’m feeling the 40 degree water temps.

Did a big overnighter out in the Olympic NF with a buddy. Instead of driving over we rode from my house so we wouldntget stuck in the ferry line. Ive been a bit docile since my son was born so it was nice to stretch the legs a bit. This is a mix of singletrack, gravel and a small bit of riding on the highway. We did this route starting from Quilcene a few years ago and got SOAKED. This time it was mid 70s both days.

Finally embracing the concept we have 2 seasons in Tahoe - Winter and Road Construction. Swapped my road slicks for a set of 32mm CX tires on my newest Moots...I REALLY prefer the gearing of a road compact over a gravel setup...even if I lose a little low end gearing,

Tandem ride! 90% of the time it’s me pedaling alone. :p

Found a new trail I tried out but ran short on time and turned around right at the edge of a wilderness area.
Looks like a boring straight line but has tough uphills and great technical sections on the way back. Walked a lot up but really enjoyed testing the suspension on the way down. Kept the bike rubber side down.
Hard to see the vertical here in the downhill boulder field. One of many.
