Snow remained at the very end of Perseverance trail as of last week. Although it's gone today, the avalanche in photo below remains. This is not a difficult trail. I'm not a skilled rider but am in decent shape for a geezer. Biking this trail is definitely easier than running, especially downhill! Maybe a dozen other people at the most on the trail around midday today. It's about 1 1/2 hours RT for me riding right from home.

ACTIVITY:

Mountain biking with hiking and winter use

INTRINSIC QUALITIES:

Scenery, Historic

LENGTH:

3.5 miles one-way

ELEVATION:

1000 feet elevation gain

DIFFICULTY:

Moderate to difficult due to step climbs and some areas being exposed with steep slopes and drop-offs. This is a popular trail with a variety of users and dog-walkers. There are several blind corners, use caution, especially when coming down. Some areas may have loose rocks, minor rock slides, or water flowing over the trail. For mountain bikes and large tired bicycles.
