Great looking bumper.
Does it mount using the 8 factory bolts?

Folks: Let's get this discussion back on track.
Regardless of your point of view, just stick to the technical aspects of this bumper. Whether it is too expensive or not, or your ability to pay for it or not, or if you are cheap or restore $100K trucks, etc. has NOTHING TO DO with the technical aspects of this bumper or it's manufacture.
So, let's please get back on topic. If you have issues with the OP drop them a line or call them or write them a letter, etc.
But stop arguing like a bunch of school children.
Thank you.
Beno, I think price and manufacturing questions are well within the technical realm and should be acceptable in this area of the forum...maybe the questions should be more direct, but If someone pumped out a bumper made of titanium, for $10k, we'd obviously ask what the benefits are that justify the price.
1. What's the bumper finish?
2. Can it be ordered primed only?
3. Or order in different color - assumed add'l charge?
4. Looks great. Excellent design with form + function.
Understood. Will be in touch directly.1. Almost all of our products that mount to the outside of the rig are black, "small texture", 2-stage (a base coat and topcoat for durability) powdercoat. The exceptions are the suspension pieces that would collect a lot of dirt and debris with any texture on them, so are smooth, semi-gloss black.
2. It could be ordered raw, but we haven't had anybody ask for that. It wouldn't save much money and we don't really like having products out in the wild that we can't control (imagine if somebody did a bad finish job, it's still one of our products and gets shown off as such). That being said and understood, we will sell bumpers without finish, but it wouldn't be primered (because we don't use a paint process). The 2-stages of powdercoat can't be separated out into different processes.
3. Custom colors are certainly available, and yes, would incur additional cost. If a color match type situation is what somebody is going for (matching an existing bumper or rack or whatever), then shipping the bumper raw so whoever is doing the coating can actually lay eyes on the "match to" color would probably be the better course of action.
4. Thank you very much.
I just jumped on your website. Your products are very good looking. I am actually looking for a rear bumper with a swing out tire carrier. There is not pricing listed for the rear bumper. Are they available? Where can I find the price?Somehow missed this question in the fray.
It does mount to those locations, but we include new hardware.

If you've got one for me, yes please. Can't ever have enough gold stars.
I think that all of the critical questions in your 80 and 100 series bumper threads, especially mine, could have been solved with this:
Q. Why is it so expensive? A. Because of the shape
Q. Why is it shaped like that? A. Because we think it looks cool
There is nothing wrong with something looking cool.
Uhmmmm....while I agree with you on many fronts we all tried to ask questions and bring feedbacks ina constructive manner and wasn’t bashing him at all except we were met with attitude. Again no bashing occured by any of us, I asked questions I have. I asked many questions about the panhard bracket and he answered some but othe mud members feedbacks and pictures finally got me to buy it. This thread was perfectly constructive till his meltdown and start calling people sensitive and other snide comments. LC and Mud in general have been a very positive and supportive community that provides honest and constructive feedbacks. If DVS doesn’t like then then he should go back to his Jeep fanboys.
Yes I bitch about price but I always do. Plus my LX is my sh!t/Costco hauler now and days so she doesn’t get the priority on budget. Then again if I think something is truely worth while then I don’t have a problem with buying something that’s of a good value like DSV’a panhard bracket or my King’s 2.5 shocks or the all the Landtank stuff everyone is complaining about on price. But after research I found them to be of good value and purchased them.
Some people buy based on cool factors but I buy based on function and value. Since it’s my hard earned money I get to send it how I like it and my money won’t be going to DVS anymore.
And you could also just decide it isn’t for you for whatever reason and not say anything.
/shrug
Cheers

Cool (back on track)
Your latches on the swingouts are next level, was just looking on your website.
I used salvaged parts from a Nissan pathfinder for the swingout locking latch and it works well enough. Lately I've been contemplating adding a piece of square tube (reciever hitch) under the tire, both as a bit of a support under the tire, but more specifically to put the thule bike rack in so the whole thing can swing off to the side. Might be a cool option for some folks if you want to do something different...
Thank you for bringing more quality products to the 80 series aftermarket ecosystem. You guys have obviously put in a ton of sweat equity while taking on a not so insignificant amount of risk selling to a low volume vehicle that's a ~1/4 century young.
Can those corner LEDs act as both a turn signal and DRL? I'd love that option. I like the look with the bar. Would be cool to visualize a fully kitted fzj80: Lifted on 35s, bumper w/ bar, sliders, rear bumper w/ tire.
