How does it look with the Lexus grill?

Great question! It fits the same. We make a 91-94 model and a 95-97 model. We don't have a Lexus around the shop otherwise would be able to post a pic.

I’m in Boise and have an LX450. PM me if you need an LX450 for a photo shoot.

The vertical lip at the bottom looks like it’s waiting to be bent and snagged on a ledge, it interrupts the otherwise sleek lines of the bottom.

Granted it’s higher up than the frame center section, but it seems out of place in an otherwise sleek bumper.

Bumper looks awesome! You can tell a lot of thought and design went into it. I’ve been periodically looking at the other thread so I’m familiar about the “why” this bumper and your other products for the 80 came into existence and I’m glad to see more support, especially with the passion that went into your build.

Looking over the winch specs on this bumper, I was curious as to why it was designed around the 8k and 10k winches. With rigs pushing 6, 7k lbs, a lot of winch is needed and there are a lot of folks running a 12k (and the Harbor Freight at that (hey, desperate times call for desperate measures)). Will it accommodate the 12k? Any reason why it was designed around the 8/10k when winches are typically recommended at 1.5 or more the weight of the pull?

I apologize about the bad lighting. I am trying to show the bottom of the wing is flat (actually angled slightly higher up in the back).

Maybe? We don't have a 12k winch sitting around to test fit. Want to send one our way?

Looks like either way if you catch your bumper on a rock it's going to get torn up (your setup or ours). Can't really tell from the pics, when you say "slightly higher up in the back", do you mean beyond what's visible in the pic? Unless it's going up at a right angle in the back, it's not really adding a huge amount of strength and if you go over the kind of rock I'm imagining you're talking about, it'll bend the bumper in your pics up, or bend our bumper back a little. Any way about it, that rock would be almost at the top surface of a bumper like an ARB, so you wouldn't even have the chance to get over it.

If HF didn’t take my other 12k back when it broke, I woulda sent it on to you guys! Now, depending on where you guys are I could do some real world testing in CO for you guys this weekend :)

On a serious note, great job bringing something new to the market. Looks great.

How much are those HF ones? Shop trailer might need a winch...

The 12k is $299 on sale (I think someone posted a coupon today on Mud, actually...). Although mine was replaced at just shy of 2 years, it was because of the cables splitting. Keep that in good shape and give the winch a once-over when you get it (waterproofing and grease) and you'll enjoy it around the shop.

First off, I applaude your effort and innovation! Eliminating the valence is genius.

It also make it tough to appreciate the clearance from some pictures without a frame of reference for comparison or seeing it in person.

At Moab, my ARB has been my nemesis. Hanging up on ledges.

The last edge (rear most) on my custom 200 bumper angles up slightly above the horizontal. (It’s also braced with tubing) It can slide on an obstacle.

If your bumper bottom is as high up as ARB top, awesome. The lack of a valence throws off perspective. Still the 90 edge is not slide friendly.

I’ve seen the bumper in person. It is really nice.

I have an LX if you ever need one to sort things out with. Mine is the one with the tailgate hatch that was down at your shop a couple weeks ago.

Many thanks to @martinakl, we now have photos to answer @rolliges question!

Here you can see some direct comparisons between the Delta bumper and an ARB on the same rig from the same angles. The Delta bumper is considerably heavier in hand, with plenty more structure and material thickness.

Could you explain the lighting more? Do the integrated turn signal lamps hook up to factory connections? If not, are required parts included? Also, I see the openings for the aftermarket LED lights in the above pictures. How exactly are they mounted?

Sure thing! The LED turn signals crimp to the wires that come off your old turn signals when you remove the valence. You do NOT cut your harness, just the connector on the light itself.

This test fit bumper didn't have any of the aftermarket light mount pieces in it, so all you're seeing is the cavity where those go. A number of different plates fit in there and have a small degree of adjustability so you can tune the spots if you choose to put those in there. When you purchase a bumper you have a choice of 3 mounts (Baja Designs flush mount, Rigid flush mount, blank/cut your own). The bumper ships with your choice of mount installed.
