Here is a video of my last truck, in the water splash, this is something we have done often, with a prize on the trip for the "wanker award" for the biggest splash on the day.
Also, here is a pic from snow trip a couple of years ago, my truck with 6" lift on 37's in the fast flowing waters. We could do up to 20 + crossings like this in a weekend on winter trips.
And another of the same crossing in summer.

There is a safety for water crossing that I rarely see mentioned. It is good use of a winch.
The lead truck enters the water with a winch cable attached to the rear. The follow truck is in a solid position with the winch clutch released. As the lead crosses, the cable is paid out. At a signal from the lead driver, the follow can engage the winch, pulling the lead out of trouble for another try.
When the lead reaches the far side of the water, he takes up a position as an anchor point. The follow winds in the cable as he crosses, using the winch as a safety.
This makes for a safe water crossing, up to the limit of the cable length.

Makes sense Macgyver. Just wondering if lead guys truck gets in serious trouble and drags you down the river with him. River crossings put me on edge.
