absolutley going to extend the breathers, one thing at a time though on the mods list, im not going in any water for a while

I wish I had pics or video. The misses and I did a creek crossing, 2 80 lengths long, moving water(gulp!), and about 6 inches up the upstream door. Since it was rain water the creek was real murky, so I couldnt see the depth. I broke my own rule of walk it before you drive it and did it any way by slowly creeping in to test depth then backing out then back in to cross at a bow wave producing speed. And of course what do we find mid creek at its deepest a bunch of big boulders but the lexi did just fine moving through just bouncy. I'm not sure I have enough balls to use a snork.
How easily will water come into the cab and isn't the ecu really vulnerable at that point? How do you protect that?

not sure about this ... I'll admit rivers scare me a little (actually a lot) .. had an experience on a river crossing in an M113 ... didn't look like much of a river but it picked up the APC (at 24,000lbs) and current spun it like a bottle a few times before we got a little traction and managed to get out.
Probably pretty funny from the shore .. but a white knuckle event for us.
Not sure the weight of a cruiser would be a factor in that type of situation
