don't be scared off by the old farts coming; I have been hanging out with them for a while and they aren't to bad :grinpimp:

well I am headed out here shortly..... see you guys there

I am 30, but I was 17 once not too long ago.

No worries, we will have some fun...who can't talk cruisers for three days?

Okay everyone who went post up what you like and any good stories. Great trip everyone. The views were unbelievable. Had a great time. Steak Sat night was really nice. Being able to hear JP chant fight songs while watching the game. Shower Sat afternoon by the creek was great. Made pulling JPs Locker out a lot more enjoyable.

JP and I made it back. It ended up being me who broke down a few time on the way home. Fouled #5 plug had to stop and replace. Also one shackle was lose but we caught it before any damagae happened. Pics soon.

HAd a great time this weekend! Best expedition yet. DAng...where else can one link up with so many good people but right here.

It was good to meet Rick, Jason, Ben (JP Jr.), Steve, the ladies and of course, Frankie Fish Lips.

Frankie is my hero!

Special thanks to our leaders Marshal, JP, and Alex (concrete) for putting together this wonderful trip.:bounce: :bounce2: :bounce2: :bounce2:

My first expedition trip and it was really fun. The weather was great (only a few sprinkles Sun morn) and the people and variety of rigs were great! The trails were fun and I escaped with only (more) pin striping. I was following JP all day Saturday and it was pretty entertaining to see his 62 boucing over ruts and rocks. A couple of times he stopped to assist me on an obstacle or miss a rock (that had some new blue paint on it). And every time the FJ pulled me through--JP would just shake his head and once said Dang, you made that easier than I did. I still need a lift and some TSL Radials or MTR's! Hope everyone had as much fun as I did!

When I posted the pictures last night, I was too tired to form sentences. Now, after a good night's sleep, I have to say that the trip was fantastic! I wheel because I enjoy the scenery, the challenge, the uncertainty of what you'll find, and the company of others that enjoy the same. This trip had it all.

Highlights of the trip for me:

Seeing the old and the new coming together...it was great to see so many generations of Cruisers together. I think there were 40 years in between the oldest and the newest (1967 to 2007). Being a FJC owner, I see so many people discounting it as a part of the LandCruiser family, but on this trip...we were all one in the same. Thanks to all of you for your encouragement and kind words!

Frankie the Fish - Thanks to all of you: dog owners for having great pooches that played and played and played, and non-dog owners that put up with it. I know my beastie had a great time! A special thanks to Alex for Frankie's new nick name! Live Long Paco Pescado!

Meeting new friends and seeing some again after too long - It was great to meet those of you I didn't know before the weekend. And so good to see folks after too long. It always amazes me that you can put a group of people on a mountain with one thing in common and have a perfect weekend.

Good guides - I tell you what, I could soooo get lost in those mountains! JP, Marshall, and Alex (concrete) thanks so much for getting us to where we needed to be! I think that part of the country is some of the most beautiful anywhere, but it's even better when you can relaz and enjoy it knowing you are not getting yourself forever lost in the woods!

I guess finally, you all empower and excite me to do more with my truck. Since I have only had it since March, and it's my first Crusier, I am still learning about it each time I take it out. And even more than that, I am learning a hell of a lot from all of you about your trucks too! So thanks to you all for your patience and your passion. What an unbelievably good group of folks to call friends!

And the views didn't suck either! to you all and I can't wait to see you all again on the trails!
