Did you even have time to see the difference in 3.70 gears
Thanks man. To me it's all part of the challenge, how you can overcome obstacles and problems, and learning about how to avoid them in the future. There would be no stories if everything went flawlessly. This trip is providing me with years worth of campfire stories!
As for the 3.70 gears I drove from Santa rosa to (almost) New Mexico, about 1200 miles I think. I was going 90mph at 2300rpm

I think I am going to stick with my 4.11's, when driving normal highway speeds about 75-80 i was shifting between 4th/5th too much.
