Really nice work Matt.

Let’s get side-tracked and do a spring-over real quick.

Drill press or milling machine mandatory for that one.

Going to need to pull out all the stops to keep the truck as low as possible with the SOA. Lots of good stuff planned.

Dude-you should move.

63’s moked up. Still need to cut rear shackle hanger. Rear frame is getting boxed and upper shackle bolt is going through it. Frame is going to get notched for the spring hanger and plated after. Those plus the shorter perches, and possibly ditching the overload for a thin helper spring should give me one of the lowest spring-overs out there

Ideally this is what it should look like in the rear when done. A bit ambitious, and it will probably end up a touch taller but this is my goal. Just over 37” from ground to wheelwell.

Highly recommend you keep the overloads. They really help to prevent spring wrap and you in the end will want the extra weight carrying. Infact, I have considered adding an extra leaf to mine.

And I think the passenger side needs more dents.

Noted. The plan is IF I loose the overloads then I’ll build an anti-wrap bar. I figure I’ll finalize my mounts, let it settle, drive it, etc, and see what I looks like. Before making a decision. I’m also looking into lighter duty overloads such as Tundra, Tacoma, F150, etc.

I want another crossmember just behind the transfer case regardless for a skid plate.

Whats the story with those wheels? Looks like house paint. I mean I know it's Florida, but even so, that was never a good choice.

Just for reference, what year did your springs come from?
