@Markuson @Rigger @ChowChilla @cruiserdan @BVCOTaco @Mendocino have you guys registered yet? Let's make sure we get more 200s there this year! @cruiseroutfit has already registered, so I know that's at least two 200s counting me and Kurt :D

Possibly. I just registered. Fingers crossed I'll actually be able to go.

Planning to go. Gotta register.
How many total spots this year?

The permit caps it at something around 170 vehicles.

I'm registered.

Not this year.

I'm in the dirt lot at Spanish Trail. :hillbilly:

My to do list:
-CB Antenna (how come they need to be under 54"?) Was looking at this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001AAT94W/?tag=ihco-20
-Mount for my Fire Extinguisher (thinking the bracket to the driver's seat)
-Drawers ETA: Land Shark drawers purchased.
-Tow Strap, Tow Rope and/or Chain- Only have a snatch strap.
- For the jack, is it OK if I use the factory jack and a board/platform for it? Wasn't planning on buying a Hi-Lift.

How strict are they during inspection? Someone going to open a medical kit and review its contents, for example?

Do I actually need external fuel for the day? If I fuel up before shoving off, I should be able to make it back, right?

-CB Antenna (how come they need to be under 54"?) Was looking at this one: That would work great.
-Mount for my Fire Extinguisher (thinking the bracket to the driver's seat) You just need an extinguisher in the truck somewhere even if it's not mounted, but mounted is a good idea.
-Drawers ETA: Land Shark drawers purchased. Good idea, but not necessary for CM.
-Tow Strap, Tow Rope and/or Chain- Only have a snatch strap. Good idea, but you'll be covered at CM especially because you'll be in a large convoy.
- For the jack, is it OK if I use the factory jack and a board/platform for it? Wasn't planning on buying a Hi-Lift. Yes factory jack is OK

How strict are they during inspection? Someone going to open a medical kit and review its contents, for example? You just need a first aid kit, but no one will pop it open and inspect.

Do I actually need external fuel for the day? If I fuel up before shoving off, I should be able to make it back, right? You will not need extra fuel for any of the day trails, but you should start with a full tank for the longer trail options that are outside of town.

Answers above in red text.

Aw come on!
Saying vows on the way up Hell’s Gate or Top of the World ledge WOULD be cool... ;)

Its my cousin who is getting married and his mother would never forgive me. Fear not the Romer Caravan will go to Moab on our own along with my nephew who just bought a 200. So 4 trucks now in the Romer Caravan. He also registered for the Ouray trip

I wish I could swing this but with Overland Expo two weeks later, plus LCDC, plus probably four American Adventurist events to help plan/run, I think I’m maxed out on events this year. Plus May 4th is my birthday so it’d be tough.
