I’ll be with you on that run. Never ran it before so am a bit nervous. Looking forward to it.

Hell’s is pretty straight forward as long as you watch the track, and keep an eye on which direction the truck ahead of your veers as they disappear over the top of steep climbs in front of you.

It really helps if the guy in front of you has buggy flag on his rear...bc it’s easier to see the blind direction then went. But with or without...not a big deal. That rock is SO sticky...the truck just walks up.

Hell’s gate and another obstacle or two are completely optional...and it’s easy to take a break to watch other trucks run them.

Fun fact on Hell’s Gate...
-People always watch/post photos coming UP the Gate...but frankly the drop DOWN to get to it is little blind/spooky too. :)

Like anytrail, just don’t get distracted on a couple descents with turns and ask for info/spotting if unsure. It’s a beautiful, interesting and fun trail.

@Markuson - Thanks for this post. I'm looking forward to running H/R.

Two spots just opened on the San Rafael Overnighter as they got called off to work. We'd love to have a full house for our festivities!!

Who can swing it?
