I know it's a little early, but it's never a bad time to start dreaming about wheeling in Moab! The dates for CM19 are 4/30/19-5/5/19, and I'd like to get a strong 200 showing next year. We had 188 trucks register, but there were only EIGHT 200s! Considering we get over 40 200s for LCDC, I think we can make a better showing at CM19. Last year was a great time, and @Romer @Markuson @TonyP @MilkmanVX and a few other folks from this board were there and can attest how fun it is.

We're making some pretty noticeable changes to the event, and we'll be making announcements via Instagram and Facebook from now through the event. I'll post updates in this thread, but follow along here as well to help spread the word:

Here's the thread from last year, and some pics from the event as well (some stolen from Ken - sorry! :D):

You haven't invited me!

Rent the Taco...? hmm

I think I just assumed you'd be rolling with our crew anyways :D Yes you should definitely rent the Taco! Come out early and camp a couple days before the event like I did last year. We'll bring both 200s to the event next year, but my wife will likely be rocking Ruby so I'll probably be in the LX.

Interested. Have a stock 200 and am new to wheeling. Thoughts?

There are a myriad of amazing trails you would have zero issues with. Some of the most scenic also happen to be some of the easier ones that are perfect for a stock cruiser. Good all terrain tires are all I’d suggest on a stock truck.

Were there 8 200’s?

Wow. That’s even more than I thought.
I only spotted you, TonyP, Romer and Mark Maholic.

209 creed development... ;)
-It was fun to see how many staunch 80 and 100 guys verbally told me (and likely Ken, Matt and Tony) after some tricky trail...that they were now convinced to stop making wrong assumptions about the 200’s capability off road. And...with Matt doing tricky trail almost bone stock... -Almost funny. :)

I unfortunately have a wedding to go to that same weekend so I can't make it. That will be the 2nd time since 2004 I haven't been able to go. I have been debating about going out the week before and wheeling with friends before leaving Wednesday

Wow Ken that's a huge bummer! :( I'm going to try to head down on 4/27 or 4/28, so if you're around then we should get together and wheel.

I think in addition to us there were 2 from Utah, the Nitro Gear 200, and I believe there was east coast truck too. There were at least 45 80s though, so we have a bit of work to do if we want to catch up!

We’re planning to attend CM 2019. (We missed CM 2018.) I’m bummed to learn that @Romer won’t be there. Enjoy visiting him and @cruiserdan there.

I don’t camp, but I hope to see some of you there on the trails. I want to run Hell’s Revenge this time.

Hells? What are you bringing? Excellent brakes are preferred on that run. At least by me.....

Bringing the 200. It’s the only thing I have that can run trails. The ‘40 is a work in progress. The Hundy is bone stock. The Tundra is, too.

You'll be fine. I may be leading Fins Friday if you are up.:)

It was a good time. Aside from the food poisoning I got, possibly from some sketchy Chinese food, and ended up missing the last and best trail.

I'll probably miss it this year. The Troopy won't be ready.

Ya that sucked. Poison Spider was a hoot. Sorry you missed it.

I led Hells last year in my close to stock 200 on Thursday. I’ll likely lead the same trail and the same day for 2019 as well, so you won’t be the only 200 on the run ;)

Hummmmmm, I think I’ll have a lift, wheels and tires by then
