I ordered these up from CDan - bracket is no longer available... :frown:

Toyota lists them as:

16480-90A00 - Reserve Tank
16405-90A03 - Cap Sub-Assembly

Just need to find a bracket off an old 60...

Incorrect; I just received a new bracket this morning....

16611-61020, same as in the previous pictures posted.

Bumping this old thread to add my junk. I got the 60 series setup that Poser suggested. (All part numbers good, and all parts available; keeping it all Toyota!) I used a piece of fence hardware as an offset, and added a few bolts. :)

Looks clean!

Thanks!

Somewhere in this thread, someone wanted to know the price of these pieces. I looked around for the receipt, but cannot find it. IIRC, the bottle, cap/hose assembly and bracket were around $80 total from C-Dan.

BTW, pay no attention to that shelf bracket battery hold-down device in those pics! That thing is uber-redneck!

:D

Good, now get rid of that metal fan!

Nice setup, only thing I might do different is locate the overflow to the other side of the bottle so in case of overflow it doesn't dump coolant on my light/wires (or extend the overflow length to below the wires).

Its been nearly 1.5 years since the last post. I hope the parts are still available from the dealer... I need a set for my '74

Just called my local Dealer.
16480-90A00 - Bottle - $112 CA warehouse only
16405-90A03 - Tubes - $56 CA warehouse only
16611-61020 - Bracket - $61 Special Order

Does anyone knows Toyota alternative? Kind of pricy of 220+tax for an overflow bottle...

I bought a hot rod stainless overflow Botle off eBay. The mounting tabs lined up with the top two fan shroud bolt holes I just had to enlarge them slightly with the dremel. It was super easy.

Any pictures of that?

You must be getting charged full bore.
Call C-Dan, or one of the many other parts professionals that help take care of our Cruisers!

Those are prices in Canada, but still allot.

Bought an aftermarket one at advanced auto parts for $12.99 bent the tabs and it mounted right up to my radiator. Hard to see in the pic, but looks great.
