Congrats! Happy thanksgiving man!

Sent from my HTC One_M8

Well had a great Thanksgiving with @cruiserdan and family in ABQ with some other old friends whom I haven't seen since I moved back out East.

Now, time to install mechanical temp gauge, some other odds and ends, and then hopefully figure out truck issues. I hope to leave for Southern Utah on Sunday AM.

Yum, yum....

Installed mechanical gauge. Out for a test drive in ABQ (elevation 5500 feet give or take).

Around town so far looking at about 190-205 as a operating temp.

And can I say how much I miss ABQ....

When I see vistas like this that I really took for granted for 7 years when I lived here.

Thank you to @wesintl and @DanS HJ-45 for some really sage technical advice and answering my newbie diesel phone calls and texts.

ABQ area is beautiful. Been years since I've been out that direction. Did a couple of backpacking trips when I was younger.

Parts in hand. Please tell your mother she did good. :)

I spy an INTI rack... Those are sweet!

Also, something nice about seeing a land cruiser with all of the rear lights in proper working order. :)

I miss driving those roads... Enjoy man!

Dan, Barry and I went to Arch Canyon while Cimarron stayed behind waiting on parts to fix his truck which were delayed one more day. :(

It was 6* F last night in Arch Canyon last night. I might need my toes amputated.

Cold is just a state of mind.

....and truly frozen toes! :)

The good pics will have to wait until I get home...

@beno BJ-70 was doing quite well with the overheating Frankly, I am amazed at his normally aspirated 3B--it keeps up with our 12H-T powered 61 amazingly well.

Folks: I don't currently have any ability to do any parts quotes or sales until I return to ATL on 12/7.

Thank you!
Onur
Moab, UT

I'll vouch for him on this one folks. He's been out and playing in the serious hinterlands.

Here's a sampling of the photos (I'm holding back the best ones :) )

Dad and I just got home a half hour ago (we need to head to NM so I can work on my 60, and so Dad can join the Outlaws Run). This is the first time I've wheeled in Moab in December, and I must say it's pretty magical seeing NOBODY out there. Super glad Onur showed us one of his favorite spots that I hadn't seen yet.
