You talking about the vent lines?
And the fuel pickup...
The tribe that worked on the original tank for the Target Carrier neglected address this and created a restriction forcing me to build the 50 gallon tank that's in there now sooner than later.

Put the sealer in the tank and strap it to your tractor wheel, then take the scenic route around your farm. :)
That would have saved me some aches and ibuprofen.

im hoping that waiting 60 minutes after starting then hitting each line with air hose very briefly works. It’s what Red Kote and the old timer said to do.

Each line is clear, made sure of it.

It does and hoping to deal with it this weekend. Maybe should separate the two again until we get little further down road. It’s totally confusing.

Daughter leaves Friday (with wife) to go back to CSU and I have hard time burying myself in a project when I could spend time with her while she is here.

Also hesitant, you know when potential for damage is there you hate to put effort in to confirm possible suspicions. Has to be done though, hoping all is good, reinstall and keep driving!
I'll play - is Clyde the Pig you got from Delancy?

I feel like we might need a secret decoder ring for your Pigs now!

Yep, CSU starts next week! The boy invited us over last night to watch some Seahawks football. They were all saying break felt a little long. What?!?

Now that is some knowledge Ron!
You are adding value to our brain buckets today...

This is where it’s confusing, Clyde will ultimately be Delancy’s old chassis + orange pig that was in GJ for a little while!

Swap originally scheduled for this weekend but Onur ended up having obligation. We are rescheduled for end of February, then the confusion may be cleared up.

I don't think all the tribes had good air compressors back in the day...

So Clyde is the Pig that went from The Boat to GJ back when you lived here?
I think I got it!

"...orange pig that was in GJ for a little while!"

Bit of an understatement...though Mike did get the nose of the old Porsche redone (removing some road rash) in just a week. Picked it up a few days ago.

I firmly believe Steve with Northwest Fab does not understand the $5000 budget!!!!

Things happening in Houston, E stopp parking brake, Mosley LS radiator with electric fan and Rear disc brake kit have been ordered.

Absolutely love the updates!, Thanks Steve!

budget? 5k always enough, as long as you use a multiplier
You’re not talking about the ‘damage multiplier’, are you Don?

Close to determining what damage may have occurred with the harmonic dampener bolt coming off. Draining radiator now. Stop cock frozen and decided to go another route of draining instead of risk breaking something. Have shop cat so letting it drain into bucket slowly, don't need it splattering all over floor. I did loosen all three belts and once radiator empty I will pull it.

Not sure what to do if the keyway is jacked up...

Visited with Onur about the findings. Obvious pulley needs to be replaced. Onur feels like Cam needs to be repaired and possibly a machine shop can repair it.

I'm at a crossroads here. Emotion driving wanting to utilize Delancys old build. Taking emotion out of this, it seems like it would be better just to use the 2f and h55 i have here in the shop on the 69. Front disc conversion, electric PS and move on.

Lots of thinking to do, welcome anyone else's thoughts on which direction I should go?

Of course only my 2 cents…. But you seem to be a person with a penchant for reliability. You have some things you do where it is an important factor…(like those freakin’ airplanes).. I would think your more satisfying solution is to go in any practical direction that provides this. I’m thinking to repair or replace the shaft

Years ago.. with some of those dyed in the wool Harley guys who would ONLY ride those American bikes the question was. “ If Harley Davidson made an airplane….would you fly in it? “

The back story was….back in the AMF/Brunswick days in the 1970’s these bikes were not all that great directly from the factory floor. In fact during g the most difficult financial periods, they were shipping motorcycle to dealerships with the pistons in a box of crated parts for those dealers to finish assembly. Reliability was mediocre at best.

I don’t see you doing that given the photos you post about the two of you driving through so many different places…great pictures by the way
