I’m so lucky that the wife is all in and loves the pigs. I just have to get something for her 62 if I do something with the pig.

Last night I broke news to her. Her response was “after the $1500 you say we have put into it why we would not do the dashes”.

It ain't the fall. It's the landing. That $100 cover I glued over Bonnie's (three piece) dash top 15 years ago is looking like a bargain.The total cost to purchase my last four Pigs was less than your dash pads will be. Still busted the $5K budget though. Good thing we both have understanding wives.

i'm happy i did mine 3-1/2 yrs ago for under a grand(Dash only), and i thought that was pricey!

I recall $900 or so in 2022 when I got first quote, fella who called wanted to make sure I understood prices had gone up “a lot”! He wasn’t lying.

Colder than crap here today with WC around 10 degrees. Since gonna need to drive Clyde up on trailer and it ran like total crap as expected after sitting gonna put little focus on Clyde today.

Considering pulling the carb and soaking it. Look for gasket where air breather sits on the carb which has been repaired a number of times apparently.

Also gonna bundle up and take the other pig to town for new plugs.

Not pig related but Kim’s 62 driver side knuckle starting to leak so we will order new kit from Kurt and Kim can tackle her second knuckle rebuild!
