This Is a Custom Job on a 1977 FJ40 2F with a Trole-Hole Updated Replacement Unit Carburetor , I am Not very

Familiar with His Product line , :meh:

But after some Basic R&D , & the Clients help also , i determined it Needed the
8/80 - Later Barrel Stop Update / Upgrade

Upon Final Post Restore / pre-shipping Lubrication Process with T-9 Boe-Shield , The New additional De-tent Stops Clicked like a Real good " Snap-On Rachet "!

T-9 Boe -Shield , by Boeing Air Lines Corporation is the ONLY product that should Ever Be considered for TOYOTA OEM Control Cable Lubrication

products like PB blaster or WD-40 will only further break down the Black Cable Liner Housing and actually cause Pre-

mature failure by attracting Dirt and Silica crystals / sand

Lets talk Bezels .............

so in the Late 1960's ( @Living in the Past will know the exact Production Date ) :)

Toyota decided to Add a Cosmetic Silver Color Trim Bezel or Escutcheon Ring to the Dash side Face of the Choke , Dash Mounted Throttle & Other Control Cables such as the V or VENT Pull Cables

at first they were made from Solid Bronze , then Chrome Plated , then at another Production Date in the MID 1970's were changed to a

Silver Color Electroplated Aluminum Metal , still looking mostly the Same in Design for the Most part

The Early Bronze Ones tend to hold up better to the Elements , The Later ones Corrode and Oxidize like a JEEP CJ7 🤣

Here are some Typical Condition Before & After Shots ,

i use a Custom Step Down Polishing Process to achieve this goal of a Mirror Like Finish .

i
Do NOT use any Polishing Compound of any kind , iv tried it and its a waist of time and makes a hell of a mess on the walls of my shop

Before
