You are getting quite good at this.

I have a '70 40 cable that needs a longer cable and coil sleeve (due to newer Carb). Can you do that? It's off the truck and ready to ship.

Thanks for the Kind words

Well, I am very confused now. The pix that Mark posted is the throttle control cable on my 4/69 and my owners manual shows the same thing. My owners manual also shows the choke as being boxed in. I have an aftermarket choke cable on my 69 and am looking for the correct one. Per the manual and per my 4/69, your pix show the throttle cable and not the choke cable or so it seems. Chime in with thoughts please.

Of course, my factory repro owners manual covers more years than the 69 but it appears that if Mark’s pix at beginning of this thread are correct then maybe the choke and throttle cable had the same knob for a 4/69?

u will notice the throttle knob in your manual has 3 Dots on the bottom , That represents Atomized Fuel spray coming out the

venturi down the carb. to the butterfly the Throttle cable is opening / controlling

Here is pix of my choke knob (last pix) which matches Mark’s photos (and no dots). Also attached is pix of my what I am sure is after market throttle control knob located to the right of choke (first pix). So, it looks like my choke cable is correct despite what my manual shows (since it shows it being boxed in). Matt, let me know if you have restored or unrestored correct throttle control for my rig— just PM me
