I'm to the point where my stock fuel and oil pressure gauges work intermittently - I just let it go and keep wheeling the snot outta my 40. Also - busted speedo cable. That means the only gauge working 100% is the voltmeter and with a 200 amp Mean Green - who cares :D Simplicity at it's best.

i didnt see the flux compasitor

I would like to have the money he spent on all that.

I could rebuild my 2f, buy a pipe bender, and take the wife out to dinner!

Starter switch - a fake one as a theft deterrent?

Ding ding ding. We have a winner you guessed it close enough. The key switch on the steering column is not hooked up. Look at the pics.

You win a pair of FJCruiser leather gloves.

PM me your address and I will get them out.

is there a switch to get your gfriend/wife to shut up while sitting in the passenger seat?? :)

Yes, it's the red one under the tach. It turns on the passenger seat vibrator that is linked to engine RPM. The faster you rev the quieter she gets! ;)

:grinpimp:

No, thats the one for the ejection seat.....I guess it would achieve the same result...

Woot!

I didn't think you were serious!

I will politely decline - give them to someone else who would like them (I have a few pair from the FJ Trail Team already).

But thanks!

Over 56 switches, 18 gauges, incredible!
I'm a mechanical Engineer, the reason I love my FJ-55 is its'simplicity, Every (read American or Japanese, not German) Engineer knows that the simple solution is the best one. Don't see that thing as survivable in the real world. Imagine tracking down the electrical problems after it all gets wet! Avoid lightning strikes at all cost.

Does it have a stuck jeep proximity indicator?

all that cr...stuff and i didn't see a nav system

are you kidding me, that owner would be stoked, to spend a day or week tinkering with that thing to find a short. I personally, would not, I like simplicity myself. I wonder how many v12 jags this guy owns.

That thing would get stolen around here just for the copper in all the wiring:rolleyes:.
