so it's been years since Iv posted on here but I'm after photos or threads of 60s with 8b4 paint code for ideas on my next build (hj60) all the way from Australia thanks

What color is 8b4?

8b4 is the same colour as the chopped 60 in that photo

Specs on this are
80 series chassis swap
12ht h55f Gturbo grunter extreme top mount intercooler maxed out fuel pump
6pt internal roll age 4pt harnesses
Twin Arb lockers
Hybrid front diff patrol centre in a 60 rear housing with 80 swivel setup so it's exactly same as 80 front end track wise
8274 highmount with twin motors and freespool on 24volt
37/17 sticky treps on walker Evans beadlocks plus heaps more

8B4 is known as Midnight Metallic Blue. Found that it has more of a purple content to the color than an actual blue. If you look way back in my build thread you can see some pics of door jams and tailgate that were original color. PO that I purchased from sprayed exterior with a crappy flat gray, my plan is to spray myself with a Rustoleum Deep Slate color which is close but has more blue in it.
