How many people / vehicles have registered so far?
Next week is approaching :D 😅

Off the top of my head about 80 drivers (trucks) somewhere in the neighborhood of 130 total people.

Excellent! the Missouri / Kansas crew is 10% of that batch! increases our odds of a set of tires.. Ya all need to register now to increase your odds of beating us out of the goods..
Looking forward to getting out of town for a ROAD TRIP.. Thank you Olde North State Cruisers for hosting.. We appreciate it and understand the effort that goes into a TLCA National event..

Having never attended before ...
On Friday, is there an anticipated to open check-in and start inspections? What time do groups tend to form up and head out? Are there any other considerations to allow time for? [are FS usage passes easy to purchase and return to the event site?}
Thanks

@LDowney the pass is purchased at the El Dorado Outpost BP. They also have a great breakfast selection. Everything else is at camp. I hope to volunteer for inspections again this year so look for Rufus. I will be attached to him.

Inspections start when he gets there, usually around 8:30 since the first wave leaves at nine.

Travis.

Never too late. There are groups coming and going all day. The Relic Run is what’s most important. Be there or be square.

Don’t forget to get a trail map from the wall rack by the door when you leave the Eldorado Outpost after getting your trail passes.

Pass options are either $5 daily or $30 annual.

Also, anybody intending to use the rifle/pistol range needs to get a daily range pass at Eldorado Outpost. You cannot buy that pass at the range and it’s a 15 minute drive back to the Outpost!

I figured, $80 is just a bit too steep for a broke college kid at the moment if I'm just going to wheel with y'all for a trail or two. No worries, hopefully will pass y'all out on the trails🤙

Edit - was told that it was $80 and figured there wasn't a different price or levels to purchase but just saw the "Day Pass" option, registering now, can't wait to see y'all there

Aren't you in the most recent Toyota Trails with the story of driving your BJ75 across the country and back with some buddies?

Yep, same buddies that I'll be wheeling with when I'm not doing the relic run! With the day pass I'll have access to the campsite Saturday night, so I might stop by and talk to whoever wants to know more about the trip or check out my $50 junkyard turbo setup lol

Hi.

A couple of us from the club will be at the campsite early setting up. We can answer any questions or offer any suggestions or give you guys a quick area familiarization.

This goes for all folks attending CRR that are not familiar with the area or that have never attended an ONSC event before.

Just look for me at camp when you arrive and I’m happy to help. You can’t miss me. I’m the fat Mexican looking dude. Haha

Missouri / Kansas crew will have 3 dogs
2 german shepherds and one blue heeler.

About a dozen. Well behaved good. Buttheads should left at home.

That will be a trip you will never forget, congrats! My oldest daughter did something similar over 90 days one summer between her Sophmore & Jr. year of college....14,000 miles! Hope to meet you one day!

Is the butthead reference limited to dogs ... or does it hold for drivers too? :)
Definitely applies to drivers too. Thankfully we’ve got a great group of very laid back members and attendees. I can’t remember having to kick anyone out…. Then again I don’t remember a lot of things :)

Never expected otherwise, but it was just such an easy attempt at humor ...

If all goes well the next several days I will be going with my 7 year old son in the BJ73 on perhaps Thursday evening through Sunday. .. My wife will likely drive to meet us for one night and ride as a passenger with us on the trails ......Questions: 1. Can I register my wife and sons as "passengers" since they won't be driving or having any vehicles in any of the events? 2. If my wife is a passenger can she park her car next to mine in the campground on the night she comes up as she has her own vehicle hatchback tent setup that she likes to use?
