Some campgrounds are nice enough to have a woodpile area where they let a local tree service deposit some of their tree debris. Gives campers a place to get firewood other than buying it or scouring the woods for deadfall..........Does the campground for the relic run have something like this?

It does not. I would suggest bringing your own, or purchasing from the $5 a bundle guy that’s right around the corner from the site.

I just spoke to someone that last weekend was camping at Riverbend ( that’s the name of the campground )

Apparently they delivered five face cords of wood. So we should be in good shape

It's gonna take a while to remember that place as Riverbend instead of shadowlands, lol

Nothing is as consistent as change. Give it a couple years and it’ll be Shadowlands again.

Loaded up, heading north!

Anybody have a used set of 18" A/T tires they want to sell attending?

It's raining pretty good today here, supposed to stop sometime in the AM then more on Thursday.
I have Firestone Destination AT 255/70 18 on my truck currently. What exactly are you looking for? 5 on my truck currently.

I do.

Amateur photographers, Pro photographers, Instagrammers, drone operators, Youtubers

Help us capture this year's event! We have lots of great images of the trucks and trail riding from our resident pro Alex Cortani - as you saw in Toyota Trails.

What I personally think we've been missing is more candid photographs/video of the fun. Smiling people, dogs, kids, the band, the food, the raffle, more kids, dancing, you name it. The relics provide a great excuse to get together, it's the memories that you make outside of the trucks that will keep you coming back year after year. Capturing this could really help communicate the overall feel of the event.

Please use the hashtags if you're posting online: #carolinarelicrun and #CRR2022

We are discussing a central repository for pics from the event and will get back to you on the details when that is confirmed.
looks like the #carolinarelicrun hashtag is good,
I checked the #CRR2022 one, and it looked to be for a Spanish myofascial pain conference?

Tom (@papabeach) and I registered earlier today, nothing like last minute right? We’ll be driving up Thursday in his 79 I built for him.

@cruisermatt that rig is too darn pretty. Can’t wait to see it in action.

I'm battling brake issues on the 60 after redoing them. I think it's the aftermarket booster I got. Calipers don't release all the way after a few stops even after adjusting and testing various booster output rod adjustments and pedal rod adjustments per the FSM and City Racer's instructions. Will be swapping the old booster back on in the morning to try.

Hope to get it fixed tomorrow otherwise I'll be in the 100.

I'll be down there Thursday.

Lot of rain today. Not sure about Thursday. Trails: "rocky mount", "saw mill", "slab pile", and "wolfs den" are normally fairly easy. When it's really wet they are alot of fun as the red clay offers some good challenge in some spots. Back side of daniel to the peak is also fun in the wet. The front side of Daniel is of course very difficult in any weather.

I'm about to throw on a City Racer booster - will have to @ you for some notes when you get a resolution.

Did you change the master cylinder? If you did, make sure to remove any residual valves in the front circuit of the master. As far as the booster goes, I had the opposite issue when I swapped the original booster for a 2nd gen 4runner booster. It would not hold pressure. Turns out the 4runner booster did not have the provision for a check valve from the vacuum line...only a nipple off the booster. I found an inline check valve from a wrecked Lexus car in a junk yard. Installed that and my brakes have been fantastic ever since.
