Lol, I just realized I hadn't registered yet. That's fixed now.

As of right now, no sorry. If we have leftovers after the event - we can definitely hook you up.

If there's a huge demand, we can do a 2nd run or I can offer some made to order options. (so short answer yes, but probably not till late April or May)

I need to sign up but I'm planning on going and checking out easy trails at uwharrie for the first time with my 80. What recovery/other gear do I need? I have an electric air compressor and a baofeng for comms
Unless it is pouring rain there is no worry of mud. The mud when it rains is slick clay not bottomless gumbo. Except for the front side of daniel trail and a couple other spots every obstacle has a bypass. You won't be limited to just the easy trails. That said if you make a mistake in your driving it's easy to mangle sheet metal on rocks. If you get high centered on a rock and wanted to recover yourself without a winch highlift and stack rocks under tires.

Was just reading over the inspection list and I'm wondering how strict the rules are on a the need for a fire extinguisher/first aid kit. I can pick some up before the event if I have to but I already have a few things I'll need to buy.

Also is a working parking brake strictly necessary? Mine hasn't worked since I bought my rig...

We're strict. Must have all of the stuff on the minimum vehicle requirements list.

You can still come if you don't pass, but you can't go on the "relic run" trail ride. No other restrictions. Any offroading you do outside of the event trail rides is up to you.

Guess I need to get out the credit card and take a look at my parking brake.

I'm gonna be wheeling my 1987 BJ75 with my buddies and just saw that the relic run was happening as well the exact same weekend, thus I have a question. Would it be ok for me to join y'all on some trail rides on Saturday without paying the entry fee for the event? My cruiser will pass the inspection list needed to ride with y'all. Wouldn't partake in any of the events y'all are holding other than just a trail ride or two, then go back and camp with my friends. Just figured it'd be a shame to take my troopy to URE without wheeling with some fellow relics. Just don't know how strict the rules are on that sorta thing, if I'm not allowed then I'll definitely pass some of y'all on the trails!

So you want to benefit from the event trail rides without paying? Come on man, lol.

If you meet up with the crew on the trail randomly that's one thing, but all the event specific stuff (including our organized trail rides), you need to pay to participate.

I figured, $80 is just a bit too steep for a broke college kid at the moment if I'm just going to wheel with y'all for a trail or two. No worries, hopefully will pass y'all out on the trails🤙

Edit - was told that it was $80 and figured there wasn't a different price or levels to purchase but just saw the "Day Pass" option, registering now, can't wait to see y'all there
