Ahhhh....to be young again.Wait a minute... You made that trip with your wife and two small kids crammed into the 45 on old school bias ply tires???
You are almost right except that wife and kids followed me on the Tacoma. We just jumped all in the truck once we got there. I will tell you something, after that trip the Tacoma feels like a Lincoln limousineWait a minute... Un placer! And hope to see you next year too.We finally made it home last night. After 1097 miles I can tell that this is the best trip I had in long time. None of this will be possible without @FJ40Jim and the incredible job he did on this truck. The event was incredible. I was talking to wife about how nice everybody was and how safe we felt the whole time. My kids where running around, my campsite was unattended and I didn’t even worry about it. I felt like being on a family trip. I have always wanted to come and I am glad we finally made. It is a long drive but I am already looking forward to do it again. New seats, throttle cable, better shocks softer tires are on the list to make it more manageable. We left the event Sunday and drive 2 hours south to a friends hose to recharge, then head to Charleston to meet @leidgam visit his shop and drive north. We camped in Virginia and made the final pull yesterday afternoon. Will clean the truck over the weekend and run a full inspection to make sure everything is good.

Coal Mine and Fall Crawl are closer to OH than CRR was, and they're always a great time (albeit a touch more expensive). Hope to see you at both of them!Jesus, come visit us at the Coal Mine Cruiser Classic in PA next month and the Fall crawl.
Man I might take you up on that if the truck is ready. I getting the seats out and redoing spring bushings next weekJesus, come visit us at the Coal Mine Cruiser Classic in PA next month and the Fall Crawl in VA.
To me, they were one of the nicest shirts I’ve gotten at an event, the fit and feel was perfect. My wife loves hers too and has already worn it several times around the house--which it takes a lot for her wear a landcruiser shirt after what its done to our bank account. For my 2 cents they were very nice, good job on the designs of both the shirts and the printed materials.Soooo everyone knows I went in a different direction when it came to the T-shirts for this event. Because of that, I didn’t want a lot of extras in case the club didn’t like the change.
The “Next level” tees that we used are slightly thinner but much softer and higher quality compared to the shirts that we’ve used for prior events. Some of you may notice they fit a little differently than the boxy “classic fit”.
The design also fully centers around the event and the aesthetic of the shirt, and leaves the sponsors off. And we really grabbed the detail well with a crisp screen printed image.
I completely forgot to add a question about the shirts in the survey. Oops.
If you have any positive or negative feedback you’d like to share here or send to me directly about the shirts. I promise to take it all into account for next years event.
Keep the fancy shirts or go back?
If you did answer the survey, thank you so much for the feedback!
If you didn’t and you have something to say please take the 3 minutes on average to complete. It’s 10 questions.
