Nice, but my door cards are 18 years old and look in very good condition and they are lighter than steel. What is the benefit, advantage, etc.? Just trying to get an idea how these are beneficial.

It's been a collaborative effort, I do the steel, the painter paints, and the upholsterer does the toughest stuff.

The weight is approximately the same.
No cold or hot, reduced sound, much sturdier, you can attach speakers to it, cup holders, holster, cell phone cradle, whatever, and you can take it off and put it back, no worries.
