Tailgate panel market is over saturated now. Cargo panels is the untapped market.

Seconding this - we're divers, so anything that allows us to hose the rig out would be nice. We're just going to bedliner the interior panels for now.

This product is an excellent idea. My 93 (aka basket case) has deterioration of the lower panels where the clips won't hold. I need to either decide to patch or buy a used panel. The cheap part of me says, I can buy a good condition used panel for a lot less (even re-covered) but the practical side says, the panel will last a long time. Need to figure out what to do.

Is aluminum an option? Lightweight and won't rust. Will you sell just the panel by itself?

I like the por-15 covered steel, as good as rust proof in my book. Are the edges painted too?

The panels are hung and painted, all sides, edges, holes; completely covered.

OEM Cardboard deteriorates, used panel, same issue.

My cardboard panels are falling apart. The leather is still OK, but every time I have to go into the door to fix something, it gets worse. Can I get a deal on just the metal with the backing material and re use my old leather?

Aluminum has not been completely ruled out.

anyway a fellow mudder from Sudan can get the CAD file.???...with a promise not to distribute....cargo alone would cost way much than the panel itself.....i actually just started TRYING to get mine drawn up.

You mention that it has mass load vinyl, is that for soundproofing / acoustics?

Mass Load Vinyl is similar to Dynamat and other products. Offers noise reduction, heat reduction, and better acoustics.

Awesome job. I'm also going to petition you for cargo panels.

I really like the looks of this door panel. Having worked on my slow window and still working on my pioneer speakers, I can easily see how this is beneficial. What's the turn around time?

Well done! Looks better without the chrome too. Just thinking, you could add a Blue Sea Systems Dual USB on the door, or even power for CB. Maybe mount the CB where the basket is.

Sometimes I wonder if you ever think before you type. With that logic we should all be building our cars out of cardboard.

Didn't East Germany try that?

Are we looking at the German car, or that sexy soccer mom?
