Anyone need a mechanical locker diff? I just pulled mine out tonight to put in arb air locker. I can deliver it this weekend to the meeting. $250 or trade for?
PM sent.

5 Nov / Items SOLD!

I've got two complete 3rd members from my 1986 FJ60 for sale. (1) Front 4.88 w / Aussie Locker (2) Rear 4.88 w / NoSlip Locker . One of the two if not both may be missing the small springs that hold the two main "clam-shells" apart on the locker. When we removed them I recall that we may have lost some of the springs. (these are easily replaced). Both 3rds have been sitting in a 5 gallon plastic bucket. ALL complete except for the missing little springs. I will post pictures (likely over the weekend). These are plug and play install, fully setup...all you need are the little springs as noted. IF you are not aware these are mechanical lockers, I've had zero issues from either one and I removed them to install 4.11 and ARB air lockers. They have been out of the truck for a little while as I was just lazy in getting around to post. I will not break these apart to split up the components. Location is 35055 / Cullman AL. I don't' want to ship these as that's a pain in the @$$. I purchased both lockers brand new and the R&P brand new and had both installed/setup by my local friend. I can't tell you or estimate how many miles are on them, but I can share that its not many because I just don't drive the truck that much and most of that has been mainly off-road on the few trail rides I've been on the last couple of years. Both thirds are OEM original to the truck to the best of my knowledge, I bought the truck used some years ago..but it had the factory 3.70 gears in it when purchased and everything appeared stock when changes were made. I bought some other used thirds from another source for the ARB stuff as I just wanted to take some time and have a easy swap... Anyway I'm throwing this out there...pictures to follow. {I'm offering these at $350.00 Each / Firm}. I would prefer someone in the club or someone local (in the South) buy these things...if they don't move I'll post over into the main (for-sale) forum at some point and or other web based tools. No known issues or problems I just decided to go air-locker.

Potentially interested. Trying to figure out what I want to do with my new 60 I bought a couple months ago. I'll let you know this weekend. I pass through Cullman all the time on my way to Bham.

Part II of III Of my post above about thirds for sale...more pics. First couple pics above show the front third with the ausse locker. (You may notice the sharpie marking noting front and rear). The last couple of pics starting with the 1/2 the "Clamshell" in teh bottom of the bucket show the third with the no slip locker. One side of the clamshell fell out since the springs had to be removed. I think we reused the old crosspins...but I'm not sure... I may have some other misc parts that are related to throw in with this...I'll have to go rummage through my stuff. I may have the old cross pins but I'm not sure so I don't want to commit to that.

I don't know all you guys "real names" but bama4door expressed first interest....what that on your behalf?

No, I was just joking about him because he and I know each other.
If he decides he’s not interested I’d like to be next in line, if you are willing to change your mind on shipping.

Ok..no problem. Bama4door is first in line...you are 2nd cruisermatt. I'm not fired up about shipping...may can figure something out if bama4door decides he is out.

I've got some more pics to post up as I realized I was missing some parts (pics) related to the no-slip locker. I had the parts in a different place (boxed up in the criser) rather than in the storage building. So anyway I'll post those pics up later this eveneing. These will show the rest of the parts of the no-slip locker, the missing springs, the cross-shaft, c-clips, and some other misc parts. Once you take the springs out of the rear no-slip locker you just can't keep everything in a nice assembled manner. Nevertheless....all the stuff is here, but as noted you may have to acquire some of the misc little springs. a few more pics to follow...sorry about the dealy, not intentional....for one I have too much "crap"....

See last series of pics related to the other parts mentioned above.

Don’t stress too much I have all kinds of spares for that kind of stuff, and I’ll probably be replacing with a Detroit or Grizzly anyways. I just care about the ring/pinions that are the ratio I want and already set up.

Hey Elbert, I’m going to pass on this deal unfortunately. You can pass these to @cruisermatt

I’ll be coming through Cullman this Friday/Sunday if you want me to pick them up and I can ship them to Matt. Let me know what’s easiest for y’all.

ok....thanks for the interest, if cruisermatt has no issues I'm fine with your picking the items up. Parts are in a storage building on the south end of town (easily accessible) during reasonable hours.

Sounds good, what exit is easiest to get there off of i65...299 or 304?

I'll have to check the exit number but I think its 299 (hwy 69) (there is a new exit on the south side of cullman .. which runs into Hwy 69 also) . Anyway you'll get off hwy 65, head east on Hwy 69, come into cullman (you'll see the Chevrolet dealer) on your left, continue straight through the 4 way intersection, on to king Edward street, cross the railroad tracks, you'll see storage facility on your right after crossing the rail road tracks. I'll see about finding the correct mailing address. (other landmarks you'll see on the way in on hwy 60 are , Wal Mart warehouse, Applbee's resturant, Walmart store....(all on your right as you head towards and arrive on the south side of Cullman) as I recall you'll come through 3 or 4 red-lights.... major landmark is the Chevrolet Dealership. really a strait shot coming off the interstate....no turns until you get down right to the storage facility.

Its exit 304...get off I65, head east on hwy 69, strait shot all the way into the southern part of town, cross hwy 31 by the Chevrolet dealer (4 way intersection) over on to King Edward Street, still going straight..cross the rail road tracks, then see Heritage Self Storage on your right (can't miss it). Road dead-ends...turn right and then right again into parking lot of storage place (I'll meet you there).

I may have some other things for sale soon as I attempt to treat my pack-rat disease and clear out some things. (tire/wheel combination with 17inch FJcruiser wheels and Toyo tires, full set of wheel spacers for FJ60) too. Potentially other stuff I come across as I sift through the "pile".
