After I installed my charcoal canister I did need to get my truck retuned as it was messing with the fuel trims and throwing a code.

Then again my brake booster was leaking like crazy too but the code showed up immediately after installing the CC.

Ya I’m gonna have to figure this out. Where on the intake did you put the vent? Or did you keep the purge solenoid?

I ditched the purge solenoid and just ran it to direct vacuum with a check valve. Bought this to replace the purge solenoid:

I think that is effectively what I have, but I’ll double check. What kind of mileage are you seeing?

On the MPG - two things your a 6.0 with a CAM - that kills mpg. 14-15 is pretty good. if you want better MPG run stock CAM and i bet you bump up to 18mpg. Also get a real world clean up tune that will probably bump you up to solid 15. The tune helped my MPG in the FJ40

Got in my Kyosho in today. One next to it is my vanquish for comparison. Really nice detail and quality. I also ordered the 2 speed and dig kits for it

Been struggling with fumes in the cabin, but only when the windows are open. Checked the tank to canister vent line and it was clear. Recently installed Matt’s vent kit which and the vapor separator seem clear.

Hypothesis is the unrestricted vacuum is pulling hard enough to hold the rollover valve closed and not actually venting

Decided to make a small restrictor on the vacuum side to limit the vacuum “leak” that occurs when using the purge line direct to manifold.

TBD on if this actually fixes anything. Open to other suggestions.

Have you replaced the dried up crusty rubber flaps in the d-pillar vents? Before I replaced mine, exhaust fumes would creep in at lower speeds.

Have you replaced the fuel neck seal going into the cab in the back passenger cargo area that will allow fumes and more into the cab.

Ive been meaning to get with you on doing this. I still have got to do it on mine!

Grabbed some rubber and rebuilt the flaps, also stripped and put new foam seals. Will test it out this week for fumes
