I believe I was on 3.73s never checked them. I did from sf bay area to Tahoe and back and averaged 17.9 mpg. That's was loaded down pretty good. I sure hope I can stay around that mark with my new setup.

Been a long time since an update. Went on a road trip from ABQ to Tucson for Duct Tape Drags. Went with my good friend after both of us had “finished” our projects.

His Bronco build here 96 Rita Gets a Turbo - https://www.fullsizebronco.com/threads/96-overpowered-daily-driver.527964/

Left early, and was able to do 75-80

Cruise control s*** the bed ~ 1 hour into the drive, after a long uphill pull and a few downshifts, the rather expensive CRC2000 POS Dakota box would put the pedal into limp mode, and I would have to idle to the side of the highway, restart the truck and continue. Next time it happened pedal refused to do anything.

Ripped the inter-pedal harness from Dakota out, and kept moving. Not sure the issue, but almost left me stranded.

Made it to Tuscon, and promptly hit up the Titan Silo Museum, really cool place.

Fortunately, uneventful weekend with the trucks, and a nice drive home. Duct Tape Drags was interesting, but not my kind of car event.
you can always count on Dakota digital to be junky lol. My tach works like 70% of the time using their box

seriously, it’s a cheap ass circuit board in a cheap ass box

I am running my tank vent to the charcoal box to the intake manifold, wondering if that could effect the mileage without throwing a code

man i hope not because im literally about to do the same thing to mine :/

I dunno if there is any other option. It worked fine except for those long uphill climbs. Maybe it’s a bad ground of some common mode noise. Not sure
keep me posted, im still vented to atmosphere right now and its less than ideal. The 60 tank seems to build up pressure like crazy

I’m going to plug it, and see on the next tank. The right answer is to put it before the throttle body and get it retuned, but I don’t feel like retuning 🤷
oh wait, i was going to put mine in right before the TB using the factory purge solenoid. Did you put it somewhere else?

Are yall using the factory 60 series tach?
I am. I really like how it looks and its pretty funny when it spins past 4k rpm. When i was doing researching, my only options to use it was the crappy dakota digital box that im using, or sending my tach to this shop to have them rebuild the guts to accept the signal from the GM computer instead of looking for a 6cyl signal

No, Speedhut running off the GM computer output. 6l80 gives a signal.

I put mine into the vacuum port right behind the TB, figured the computer would adjust with the o2s once in closed loop. Guess it’s vacuum leak vs unmetered air? Not sure

Hmm never had a problem using the speed hut tach I've used and aftermarket auto meter set to 4cly using a step up resistor

It works fine 90% of the time, gauge and cruise. Same setup as you I bet, with small pull-up resistor. The issue is after a long uphill pull with downshifts the Dakota Box fails somehow and limps the pedal (DBW).

So the cruise is through the Dakota box? And works through the gm pedal wiring? I haven't messed with cruise control so far but on my next swap I probably will its going to be on a lx450.

Yup, at least the pedal part sits between the pedal and the GM computer. The VSS, pwr, gnd, etc are on another plug

After I installed my charcoal canister I did need to get my truck retuned as it was messing with the fuel trims and throwing a code.

Then again my brake booster was leaking like crazy too but the code showed up immediately after installing the CC.
