My f250 does it all, but it's nice to have another rig around for smaller chores. The bed is low, long and wide on the 45. You are right, it's very useful for hauling. I can see why it was Ed's favorite.

Found under the seat. I believe it's a vietnam era USM bayonet for a m1 carbine. It now resides in the glove box

No, always beige. Original paint, never repainted. The "blue" you are seeing is where the original paint has faded away.

Yep my '65 original spring green 45 has the same gray showing through in areas..... great truck love the Patina

I found these under the gas tank of my 78' when I removed it shortly after I purchased the truck. I also like to use my truck for truck occasionally.

I usually like to replace the master at the same time but wasn't able to locate an original one. I'm going to leave this one in place and I hope the new slave doesn't blow it out.
