The best part about an original truck is it can continue its life as a very versatile work truck. Last truck I had, I didn't want to put anything in the bed! You haven't wasted anytime!!

My f250 does it all, but it's nice to have another rig around for smaller chores. The bed is low, long and wide on the 45. You are right, it's very useful for hauling. I can see why it was Ed's favorite.

Was this truck blue originally ?? The beige is now looking as a repaint...

No, always beige. Original paint, never repainted. The "blue" you are seeing is where the original paint has faded away.

Yep my '65 original spring green 45 has the same gray showing through in areas..... great truck love the Patina

Love the 'ole M8 bayonet! Also, nice move with the factory wheels! Get some repros when/if they become available and you're set!

I found these under the gas tank of my 78' when I removed it shortly after I purchased the truck. I also like to use my truck for truck occasionally.

This is awesome ! The cool part is finding all this history in and around the truck. Great story. With @HENDOG down that way and a few others Maybe we should start thinking about a East Coast 45 gathering ????
