Finally got my hands on something I've been hunting for on/off for a couple months and it's coming from Australia.

Any guesses?

Crazy Find!

I'll come for some Pappy Van or if that is in short supply we'll have to hit Topa Topa. I'll let you know next time i"m down that way. Need to see your rig in person... Or we can meet in the middle at Solid Axle Summit.

Sweet score on the carb hat. I should buy your stock one from you. I actually managed to run mine over, believe it or not. Got all excited when i got the truck running for the first time and forgot i had placed it in front of the tire and took off for a test drive! :bang:

Question: How did the truck handle the 33x10.50s before you had the OME lift? From the pics it looks like you ran them for a while before you put the lift on. I'm really needing tires, but the OME lift isn't in the cards right now.

I'll keep you in mind but as of right now I plan to hold onto all the factory bits just in case I need them.

The truck was a mess in the handling department early on, so I can't really say how it truly felt with 33s and stock height. The tierods were toast, p/s pump and gearbox leaked like a sieve, blown shocks/steering stabilizer and flat leaf springs. I did put 4,800 miles on the tires up and down the coast and it never gave me a problem before sorting out all the issues. Now that they are all fixed, it's great!

I wouldn't doubt it would be fine, the only true change is that it is slower starting out. I don't really notice as much unless on a steep grade on the road.
