Got you some measurements. As a reminder, the current setup is 75mm Heavy rate Slinky coils (2 years old with approx 45K miles and lots of wheeling), Stage4 2.5 Slinky shocks, no spacers. 16" wheels, 315/75R16 Cooper STT Pro
Left Front Hub center to bottom edge of flare (center): 24"
Left Rear Hub center to bottom edge of flare (center): 24.25"
Right Front Hub center to bottom edge of flare (center): 24"
Right Rear Hub center to bottom edge of flare (center): 24.5"
IIRC that is essentially identical numbers to when they were installed which means ZERO sagging over 2 years and 45K miles.

Finished up one of the last pieces to the Slinky Long Travel setup on the truck last night. I've been wanting to add the Blackhawk HD rear swaybar for a while and I've had the actual swaybar for a month or so but was waiting for new bushings. The bushings arrived from Australia this week so it was time to swap it all over.
@AutoCraft Aus can correct me if I'm wrong on my specs but I believe this is a 30mm bar compared to the stock 25mm bar. Haven't had a chance to really test it but got it out on the road for a while and the initial "butt dyno" results are that it feels much nicer and body roll in corners is noticeably less. Looking forward to some heavier testing in the dirt and high speeds.

They're not bad. They look weird in that photo, and there's a little bit of uneven wear from being out of balance for a while, but they aren't anywhere near as bad as they look in the photo.

Is there anything special about the bushings that you needed to get them from AUS? Is the new bar not compatible with the OEM bush?
Do you normally run sans front anti-sway bar? Or is the thicker bar part of the slinky kit to handle the exaggerated sway associated with tapered coils even with both bars installed?
"Exaggerated sway" come on Steve, I believe your just stirring the pot.
I have removed my front sway bar & run the 97 stock rear sway bar, it performs way better than any OME set up I had.
Tapered coils in my opinion unload in turns a lot less than standard single rate coils.

No I still run a front swaybar. There’s no exaggerated sway from the tapered coils. There is less bodyroll with the Stage1 Slinky kit than I had with my OME J springs and OME shocks. The Stage4 Slinky shocks keep things even more controlled.
My reason for the bigger swaybar is for fast driving offroad. It will keep the rear end flatter, reduce understeer and get rid of roll steer. After I took Darren’s 80 for a short drive and could feel the differences it gave me a good idea of what I wanted.
Darren’s 80 has the same Stage4 setup I have, but also has this larger rear swaybar and offset knuckle bearings to dial in a bit of negative camber in the front end. Most people don’t think of driving an 80 like a rally car but it starts to feel like that and have that type of performance with those mods. The front end is more “pointy” and corner turn-in is noticeably improved so the truck will actually go where you want it to in corners and will maintain speeds much better.
I would never drive my truck with the OME setup the way I can drive it now. It would have been terrifying and honestly would have ended up in the ditch or on its side doing the speeds I’m comfortable doing now.
The only the “special” is that the new swaybar is larger diameter so standard bushings won’t fit it.
These would normally be available and sold with the swaybar when buying from Endless Horizon Outfitters but they brought me the swaybar during Cruise Moab but didn’t have the bushings. Darren sent me the bushings when he got back to Australia because EHO didn’t have them in stock.
I honestly reckon the 30mm whiteline HD swaybar i put in my old LS2 powered 80 completely transformed the car, i couldnt believe how tight and stable it felt thrashing it around
When I switched to tapered coils up front only, sway became much more pronounced than with the OME 5” comp springs that they replaced.

Which springs?
Dobinson 3.5” plus 1” spacer and Dobinson basic yellow shocks.
I’m not disappointed because think it only stands to reason. Of course, the Comp coils and Slee 4” I was running up front before were heavier duty single rates springs. I can’t really remember what sway was like when I had J springs. I don’t expect a lifted 80 on 37’s to handle like a dream either.
I have a set of 5" comp spring new in the Box. They have one test run around the Neighborhood then promptly removed because I felt they had way to much sway for me. I can not imagine using a spring with more pronounced sway then the 5" comps. I have the J's with 1" spacers for the last year and a half and it work's fine for what I do. I can't speak of ride or sway but when wheeling with Box Rocket in MOAB it was obvious his rig had way more articulation then mine. In full disclosure, I do not daily drive mine and I am running no sway bars.
