How much were the springs?

650 for springs and 64 dollars for energy bushings. And 10 bucks for metric nuts

This is how BOSSKLLA thanks me for the $700 suspension...

Rust proofing I see. Easy fix!

Read up this AM. Talk about wow. I love the attitude you’ve got. “Why not? It works!”
And destructive boys... My son is almost 4.5 and on a path of being that way. He loves taking my sand mallet to older toys or buckets or an old rotten stump in the yard and smashes them to bits. I’m thinking I’m gonna teach him how to use a hatchet to chop wood. Figure that might be more satisfying a skills lesson.
Keep up the cool thread and I’ll continue watching.

Amen to that.

I cant believe there is no access port for your sending unit. My bj 60's have them.

Yes those U bolts are expensive. Our spring shop is a little cheaper at 15 each.

I thought it was odd too. That's ok, I'm perfectly fine with re-engineering my cruiser. The new body will definitely have access made.

For u bolts, i think the best deal I've found is from Kurt @ cruiser outfitters. 80 bucks for 8 bolts if memory serves correct.

It's the little things that count. Like having both headlights work at full power, full speed wipers, and heat! And a brand-loyal entry light! I've let a lot of little things stay broken for too long.

Dual block heaters are a nice touch, but still doesn't get up to temp for a long time.
