Thanks Dizzy, I’ll have a look at the starter too

What he's saying is try turning the engine by hand in the other direction, not necessarily that there's something wrong with your starter.

Rare find. Found some Capri blue patina’d replacement barn doors for bluebonnet. Existing ones were Swiss cheese. Lucky find.

Nice score. Those are perfect!

Haven’t had much time get work done on Bluebonnet lately, I’ve been putting the finishing touches on the 67 Mustang restoration. It’s a 289, 4 speed automatic, factory AC and PS car.

I got the chance to open up the spark plugs to pour mystery oil into the cylinders to free up the engine. Attempted to turn the crank again, no luck. Engine was hopelessly seized.

On to plan B. I disconnected all hoses, cables, loosened the engine and tranny mounts, removed the transmission hump, front bib, and yanked the motor out.

First time doing a motor pull :bounce:

Nice mustang! It has come a long way since I last saw it. Makes me miss my old 65 fastback.

Good work on the Cruiser, that truck is super cool.

Have you had a chance to lay down some 11's in the road in front of the Elf Barn with the Mustang yet? That kind of project isn't really done until you've got melted tire on the fenders.

Tried to get it home first, but ended up blowing a water pump cruising at 70 on I-30. Got it hauled back to the barn and it’s under the knife again. Plan to install a new fan clutch and water pump this weekend. Then me and @Cowboy45 can go run some 11’s. We’re gonna need some new shoes @ceylonfj40nut .
