I used a:

AFCO 80126N Double Pass Racing Radiator 31 Inch Wide, 1-1/2 Inch Inlet

Picked it up off of ebay. There was cutting and re-positioning involved to get this to fit. I couldn't just drop it in.

Factory FJ60-62 radiator size I calculated at 377sq. in. The one I used is 506sq.in. Of course now that it's cooling off my temps are struggling to reach 180F cruising on the highway. I'll most likely be blocking off some airflow when the temps dip lower and/or get a hotter thermostat.

Use the tried and true military method. Stick cardboard in front of the radiator to get the truck warm :) .

Replacement latch came in. Can't thank Jason enough for getting me the part number so quickly.

I kept the old latch on, just replaced the piece that broke.

I had a friend of mine machine down the spacer by a 1/4 inch to clear the electric fans and the wires.

I then went and got some high strength bolts and bolted the old fan back on. She clears it and is as far forward as possible without hitting anything.

It may not solve my heating issues, but I figure it can only help. Now I'm waiting for bushings to arrive to replace the old ones on the shocks.

It's been flooding down here in Texas. Took big red to see the damages. Some bridges have been washed away and others are under water.

On a more technical note. Big red had developed a shudder or vibration at slower speeds, say between 20 and 35. It goes away when you speed up and returns as you're slowing down. I also encountered some issues getting it out of 4wd, but figured that's because it hasn't been used in a while.
Any idea what the vibration is from? Transfer case maybe? Drive shaft? Thanks.

Driveshaft or wheel bearing maybe. Those big tires just seem to make stuff wear out or loosen up so much faster. Worth it! :D

I just replaced the front wheel bearings. Thinking drive shaft. AND yes totally worth it :D.

Broken motor mount?

Possibility, I first felt it on the highway when slowing down. Now it's constantly there.

Now that sounds more like driveline or rear diff. Get under there and feel for loose parts.

It stopped raining long enough to get under the truck. Looks like my bad vibes are from a bad U joint.

I like the easy ones like that .

I got the drive shaft back with a new U joint thanks to Land Cruiser Specialist in Austin. I have to wait until the rain stops before I can reinstall it. Can't wait :bounce::bounce2:.

The rain stopped for about 20 minutes , so I installed the drive shaft and went for a spin. It drove like a brand new car that's about to turn 30. No more vibrating or weird noises while driving. So happy.

The radiator and turbos love the cool weather.

Drove about 120 miles in the rain. Big Red did awesomely. Temps stayed at 190-195. Turbos were quick to spool up and EGTs were no higher than 900. All this cause it's in the low 60s.
