I have been dripping more out my vent hose as well. I think it’s due to the cooler outside temps creating condensation more than our hot season.

Mine looks like oil. Some of the days have been in the 80s around here.

You guys need a catch can!
It’s on the list but way down toward the bottom.
I notice you have been poking around the diesel for sale section lately. Are you going back to diesel?

I'm trying to figure out the increase in oil drippage. The catch can is an easy fix but doesn't solve my paranoia.

I too notice a little more venting from my breather with the twins. That is to be expected pushing more boost so it's not a big deal. I'd say just keep an eye on it and if it gets worse or you notice other noise or performance symptoms there could be a potential issue. You could always do a compression test to ease the mind.

Decided to get one more camping trip in this year. It had been raining and cold, but decided to go anyway since it will be a while before our schedules line up. I changed the fuel filter on big red because it start leaking. I notice ur does that when there's a child snap. I loaded the trailer and decided to take our oldest German shepherd with us since it's been a while I've given him some quality time.

We decided to try out Sam Houston national forest which is about hours away. We've never been there and it was closer to my sister and brother. They decided to join us for the evening.

The drive was great, doing 75mph with a gear loaded trailer and some firewood. Was averaging 20 psi and 1050* for EGT. About an hour and a half into the trip I lost all power while in the left hand side on the highway. I managed top safely pull over and realized the fuel pedal wasn't giving it any diesel.

I had this issue a few years ago and thought I fixed it by getting it welded. Looks like the weld broke, but luckily I had zip ties. I was down for maybe ten minutes.

It's not a permanent fix but it got USD three and back.

The rest of the way was driving in the rain.

Set up the awning for Diesel in case it stated to rain again. My brother showed up in his BMW, freaking glamper.

My sister and her kid also showed up. Started a fire and began to cook. At night someone started rapid fire target practicing nearby. Almost felt like being back in Syria again.

More random pics.

Diesel is glad to be back, he's exhausted.

Happy New Year everyone.

Is the fuel filter leaking at the plastic drain? I switched to a manual drain that is part of the filter itself. Wix 33391

I’ve never used the 33472 filter but when I looked up leaking last year it seems to be a common problem and found the manual drain replacement.

Took my son to cars and coffee. I was going to cancel because it's freezing out today, but i had promised Alex so off we went. I had a good time, saw some great cars and met some good folks.

When I pulled into the parking lot I noticed a lot of smoke and soot. Looks like the small turbo exhaust is leaking and not getting the big turbo to boost. I still drove home doing 70mph with 10psi at 900 degrees. It's almost like it works just as well with a single turbo.
