I use this for my phone with the piece that sticks to the back of the phone case

I use various Quadlock mounts too. Sturdy and very effective. In vehicle, mountain bike, etc. Nice to have various mounts that all attach to the same phone case.

I had never heard of them before this thread. I already have some ram mount in my 40 though. Is this more secure than a ram suction mount?

Quad lock actually has RAM 1” ball mounts available as well...so if you have ball attachments already as I did...it’s an easy add. Also use their belt clip, mountain bike, dash (via the ball), wireless charge mount, and more.

Best aspect is... with the single, very sturdy phone case with the embedded mount...you then simply choose whatever type mounts you require for various uses. Very secure.

Disabled the power rear hatch... wonderful mod.

I did the same. That power hatch is too slooooow. Every time I pressed the button, in my mind, I heard the Final Jeopardy theme song playing.

Where do you get the Toyota Land Cruiser emblem like that?

I got mine off EBay. Search for Land Cruiser emblems and many different styles will show up. In my case I put it on a front plate. For the items you reference, @jeproks is replicating the HE D-pillar emblem, and so had trim off the mounting studs and cut out his own adhesive backing. I understand the emblem has to be gently bent a little to match the body curve if you also seek a D-pillar mounting spot.

The OEM HE emblems are outrageously priced (IMO), but they do come ready to mount with the proper bend and adhesive.

Added some extra lights. Wired them into the trailer plug. Gave me extra brake lights. Also works with the blinkers and the hazards.

I dont think its been mentioned. Maybe because, I'm guessing, its something we all do without a second thought. I like superbrightleds.com because I can pick out brightness and color temp I want. I've never been disappointed with their bulbs or the color matching. I used red for the courtesy lights and the whitest whites for other interior bulbs. Diode Dynamics makes a great led array that i used for the rear dome light. It comes with adapters to fit any socket and it is bright and white. Dont bother changing out dashboard instrument bulbs. They dont dim and imo are too bright to be staring you in the face on a dark stretch of road.

Love the idea of using red for courtesy and pure white for the rest. Do you happen to have a pic of the reds?

Great options here. Thanks for posting all the ideas.

I know @lifeofreilly posted the SCOSCHE MPVB MagicMount Pro Universal Magnetic Vent Mount - $20 Link and it's one of my favorites.

Add a usb plug in the power port and a 12" lightning cord from amazon and although not perfect it's a little better than the long cords...

I imagine the driver side light was intended for a rear fog light in Euro or Asian markets. I never realized it didn't have lights already in it.

Wow, this thread is dangerous, I think I've spend $100 x 20 at this point lol. Love all the input. I just received my 3rd row delete heritage mat from toyota parts online on sale for $65! Can't beat that.
If the soft spots under the mat where the third row legs were bother you, a 1x4 cut into small chunks fill those spots perfectly.

I ordered the knob online years ago for my FJ Cruiser. I used a tap and die set to increase the threaded hole to fit the Land Cruiser.
