And those parts are...?

2" male threaded to 2" female slip adapter, 2" male slip to 3/4" female threaded adapter, and 3/4" male to 5/8" barbed male brass fitting. I'd get the stuff at Lowe's, since the 2" threaded adapter fits the Scepter way better than the 2" adapter from Home Depot. With the Lowe's parts I was able to use one less part than with the Home Depot stuff. Plus Lowe's was closed on Thanksgiving so that they wouldn't dick over their employees by making them work, unlike Home Depot.

I would've gotten braided vinyl tubing too, but Lowe's was out and Home Depot only sells it in 10' lengths at the smallest  The braided seems like it would hold a round profile much better than the clear is, but I can still empty the 5-gal can in a minute flat.

Free Oil Funnel

Regardless of what some may think of my choice of oil, the 1 quart Mobil 1 synthetic container makes a great oil funnel for the 3B diesel. It actually threads into the oil filler thread on the valve cover, just cut the bottom out and "Bob's your uncle!".

Safety First

A Hella LED high mounted brake light makes me feel better in city traffic. Right around the $50 guideline for this thread.

I've on and off done this for years. Castrol bottles screw into my 22R's cam cover, so they may also be worth trying.

Great thread. I just added a small, 3 LED section of self-adhesive LED strip lights to the bottom of my rearview mirror. Ran the wires from the dome light bulb terminals, through the headliner, and down the rearview support. This way the LEDs turn on/off with regards to the switch position on the dome light.

Took about an hour and probably cost $2. Worth EVERY penny.

SOooo much better getting in and being able to see things in the front of the truck.

I also added about a foot long strip of the stuff in the rear, wired into the rear dome light. Having proper cargo area lighting is incredibly helpful, too.

Next step is to add some similar small strips to light up the driver/pass footwells.

I'm also going to add a switch in the dash to turn them on. I've read about wiring a dash switch into one of the door switches so that when you flip the dash switch you complete the ground, and the dome lights come on. Not sure if I want all the lights to come on with the switch, or just the footwell lights.

This is LED strip lighting from Elemental LED. Good stuff. They offer a variety of styles, brightness, color temperature, etc. This uses all of ~1.5 watts per foot... They also sell channels you can mount this to, so one could make lots of light fixtures with small sections of LED strip light stuck into channels that are stuck/screwed to various spots. It's also really easy to cut and solder wires to.

"Waterproof LED light module" sections are available from many places online that could be good for this use. Buy a string of them, cut them up, solder new wires on, stick/screw everywhere.
