bumpers: old ones are 0.188" and new ones were 0.125" (11ga) - but I now make the new ones 0.134" (10ga)

braces are now 0.134" (10ga)

spring perch plates I've always done in 0.188"
frame ends are also 0.188"

Rear Sills

All sills include the cover piece except for the late model which doesn't have one and is a two piece construction. All sills include the captured nuts for the tire carrier and it's bump stop as well as the ambulance doors where applicable. The covers have holes for you to plug weld it on.

'58 - 12/74 : $165.00 +shipping - can ship in a day or two
01/75 - 08/76 : $200.00 +shipping - lots of inventory right now
09/76 - 12/78 : $200.00 + shipping - can ship in a day or two
01/79 - 12/84 : $250.00 + shipping - currently in production

Interesting notes:
The middle two years differ only in the type of tire carrier.
The sill has four body mounts from '58 through to 12/78 and then has just two.
There are other sills such as FST that would be different.
My sills are one piece with welded seams. The end horns are not welded on, they are part of the main channel.
Captured nuts are all metric M8
Sill dates are not exact... Toyota used up old parts later and used new parts early. If your rig is close to the change over make sure which one you need.

Hi Guys, I just updated the first page - on the post with the vacuum tanks - I have stock now - 3 for sure (I made ten but six are spoken for)

Cheers,
Kevin

Kevin ,I am again thanking you for that amazing tailgate. I was wondering if you would consider making the bottom tub corners for the fj45. the benefit is, it's the same shape as the cab corner of the top of the fj45 tub, just upside down, which rot away. I need the tub top corners and rear tub top sill with the corner reinforced pieces. Do you still make the 6 box corner pieces ? I need 2 sets. just trying to keep you in business, you do great work.

Kevin could stay in business for ever if he continued what he has done for the cruiser community, too much to ask for one guy, very grateful for all the reproductions I have bought over the years, hats off to you bro!!

@Awl_TEQ - Sent you a PM about a rear frame rail (bumper) for a '64 FJ40. The '61-67 bumpers are the same as the '68-73 other than the bumperette and reflector holes. Let me know what info you would need to add these to your lineup.

New tailgate and lower valence installed. Fit like a glove. So impressed with your work!

Looking real good there rckhound!!

PM sent. I would like to purchase a rear sill for my 77' FJ40.

09/76 - 12/78 : $200.00 + shipping - can ship in a day or two

My new rear frame rail arrived today. Kevin worked with me providing all the specs for the early FJ40s, '62-67. We spent a couple weeks back and forth until I was feeling good about the result. And it is great! All the proper holes in all the proper places, captive nuts where originally equipped, and much heavier gauge metal. Absolutely fantastic result. Totally happy! Thanks, Kevin!

Any chance this would work for an 11/69? I dont need the 8 bumprette holes as I will be running an aftermarket tire carrier
Not unless you changed to the smaller '64-68 tail lights and brackets. I did some research on the differences of the 3 pre-74 rails, and gave the data to Kevin. You should contact him about what you need. I think finishing the CAD drawing for the '69-73 rail will not take much work, mostly just confirmation of holes by a current owner.

Hi Ryan,

I have the 74-77 rear bumper/frame cross member with “new” style tail light openings. Here is a pic of two unfinished ones. I recently increased the material thickness on this item to 3/16”. I can also make the correct one for the 69 for you as well if you like as Oregon mentioned. They all will mount on the frame as the general geometry where they join to the frame rails is the same for different years as best I can tell.

Any progress on the overhead console? Very intersted, thanks.

I just have to double check the fit before I can make a few.

I am interested in a rear sill for a 74 40, when available.

I am re-stocking right now and should have some in a couple of weeks. I will send you a message when I have some and see if you still need one.

Cheers,
Kevin
