I'm fresh out.

@Somebodyelse5 Whats the time frame to get it fixed? I might know someone who has one, but not in AZ
I’ve got one on order from partsouq, not an enormous rush but was hoping to get it done today, since i’m on vacation.

For the sake of the forum, how did you do that? What do I not want to do?

Don’t let your air chisel get close to cast aluminum  from the bottom, I was rolling the edges of the flange in, still wouldnt come out... so I removed the bushing core and was pushing more and more of the bushing wall inwards, slipped and went through the center hole and landed on the lip that diameter you see in the picture. If you aren’t familiar with that bushing/bore, the face you see only gets the bushing core through it, and it just about bottoms out on the face.
Moral of the story, don’t be stupid like me

Did you try Bell Lexus? I've got parts through them as cheap as anywhere and within a day or two at most.

I've found Bell to be pretty expensive the few times I've tried to get parts from there. I hate it, because they are so convenient to where I live. I've even walked away from the cashier to take parts back to the parts counter after I saw the price.

I'll give them another shot and check prices.

Interesting. I've been ordering from their website and picking things up in person. I don't know maybe that bypasses their mark up?

Jim

Good to know. I usually order online from Norwalk Toyota and wait for delivery. I didn't know Bell had online parts ordering. Thanks.

I typically get fairly close to wholesale pricing at my local dealership, but there are a few items that they can’t believe partsouq can sell at these prices. With shipping this diff cover was $170, from dealer would have been 250-300

I looked and the cover is $239 at Bell Lexus. A $70 dollar difference is nuts.

Disregard. I'm thinking of Right Toyota. Never been to Bell Lexus.

I have used this site: Lexus Parts - Genuine OEM Lexus Parts and Accessories Online - https://www.lexuspartsnow.com

or Bell Lexus, through Amazon - which saves me on shipping charges :D

for Toyota parts in general, after "cruiserdan" went into the museum and Camelback was no longer offering discounts online or at the parts counter, I have used McGeorge Toyota in Virginia (no state tax to me ;)), or Toyota Parts - Genuine OEM Toyota Parts and Accessories Online - https://www.toyotapartsdeal.com (most parts came from a dealer in California, so not state tax, either)

Yeah, and I think that $249 is wholesale. I think @suprarx7nut has more intel on the partsouq/dealer pricing situation, he may be able to explain for us :)
