I got started on the front fenders today, I think I can be done with them in a day or two.

I found a box on my porch this evening also, a 42" LED light bar. I'm not sure what I will use it for but at a whopping $35 shipped to my door I couldn't pass on it. I'm not convinced that they look right on a 40, something like that just looks a tad out of place. I will make that decision once I get everything running.

It is a combination spot/flood, at $35 if it doesn't work out, oh well.

Finished the driver side fender tonight, I didn't get too many pics while I was working on it. I had to fit the work in between a date night with my wife, that doesn't happen very often.

I also had time to go shopping for an air compressor, looks like I am going to pick up an Ingersoll Rand 5 hp 80 gallon unit for about $1K, I need to get some space prepped in the garage and a crew together to get it out of my truck .

Back up to the garage and lock the brakes up....... Problem solved.

Why not build you a compressor shed outside and save that space? Be a little less noisy to boot.

I am going to put it in my basement down the road, I have a lot of irons in the fire right now.

you sound like me..... I'm too busy building stuff to make my life quieter and easier - my compressor needs to levitate off the floor; either that or I need to build a shelf and put it up but first I need to replace the single cylinder compressor with a dual cylinder (4 bolts, 1 belt) but I'm way too busy to do stuff like that....

That's how they roll in the "D". They are bright as hell, maybe put one on my Kubota. Seriously, if you were off roading in the dark, it would be nice to have some type of quick disconnect to put that thing above the wind shield.

It has been one of those days already.

I pulled the tub from the frame last night, flipped it over and put it on sawhorses and jack stands to prepare to finish the underside. I need to smooth the areas for the wheel well brackets, grind down any ugly areas and work on the body mounts right behind the main beam. The front passenger side fender is mostly complete minus some final grinding. I got in a bit of a hurry to finish welding the patch in so I could get to a volleyball game of my daughters, part of the joint looks bad, there may be some more work involved on that one.

If I put a roof rack up top I think I will mount it to the front of it, if not, I don't really know yet. For $35 I'll figure something out.
