Getting ready to perform some much needed pm on my lx. Picked up an Aisin water pump from amazon for 25 bucks(damaged box item). One more available at this price for anyone interested. My experience with Aisin aftermarket is good. Exact part as oem with toyota or teq ground off. Also picked up the fan clutch fct-004 for 37 dollars.

This may help

And that's about the extent of the damaged box

The grind marks I was talking about earlier. Also came with same gasket as oem as far as I can tell.

Got a speedometer sending unit from Amazon last spring. I opened the box and SUPRISE! out comes a brand new OEM Toyota unit. $36 shipped. Made me happy.

You get lucky sometimes.i just ordered a big expensive box from beno and had no intentions of doing the WP or FC yet but at those prices I had to jump.

Aisin blue hub fan clutch was $75 on eBay. Same as OEM of course.

first one I bought last year had a TEQ mark

the second one I ordered this year only had the raised area where the mark would be, but no mark, and nothing ground off, either; and it came in a box that looked different than the year before - since the only way to find out what it really is would have been to open it up, I rather decided to send it back; got a refund, no problems

Many of you already realize this but for those who don't know here is a pic of the Aisin fct-004 aka blue hub fan clutch. As I stated earlier in the thread I picked this up for 37 dollars on amazon due to a damaged box. There regular price for this item is 65 dollars, still a far cry from what Mr.T wants for one.
I try to buy oem parts from mud vendors whenever I can and their help is very valuable to me. But when I can save this much it'll make my next call to Beno that much sooner.

My water pump started leaking like a stuck pig last week and I picked up one of these off Amazon also. Didn't get quite as good a deal though. I paid $58 for it, but still less than oem, and less than questionable aftermarket stuff I found locally.
