Congrats! Looks like a great truck. I have learned a lot from lurking here and I can confirm that there is someone here who can answer anything.

You know, someone poured their heart and soul into that thing. Don’t know why - must have had some kind of vision.
Might not look too bad painted ... black.🤷🏻‍♂️

It is a little goofy with the angled cuts. New color isn't a bad thought until I can figure out a game plan. Maybe gunmetal since the grill is already there?

Was already planning to do that on the engine room grey stock wheels. Im ussually an after market wheel guy but am gonna try that. Saw a blue/white pig in a tire size thread with some 33bfgMTs on black stockers and it surprized me that I liked the look! Old school charm. Already puttin lipstick on this pig!!!

It’s the way a lot of the vintage wheelers have gone in the last 5 years or so. The stocker wheels with bigger tires on them, with or without hubcaps. 55’s seem to be able to pull it off with the wheels painted white, gray, or black. Several guys on the board are running stock wheels that have been widened, which looks really good too.

Disagree! OP needs to get busted knuckles and elbow deep into this ASAP. We'll assess the pics and the story and steer him straight. Don't need no stinkin' "Professionals" around here.

Ooooh, I did not see that front bumper pic in your earlier post...that is not good. Does the rear bumper match? Hope not.
Hah! Um... OP? As in the voice over guy from Arrested Devlopment? There's always money in the banana stand! ; ) Hey, i have no problem diggin in, just gonna need those occasional roadside directions we guys like to ask for so much to tell me what the hell Im doing! Guessing my $15 counterfit ebay yotatech software aint gonna do me much good on this! Ok, enough words... ill post the rest of the pics in a bit

Well, I’d say you didn’t really get a good deal. I believe, instead, you got a screaming great deal! Congrats!

I’ve bought 3 land cruisers sight unseen. It’s not the best way for sure, but sometimes necessary. My wife, however, buys shoes online and that makes absolutely no sense to me. That’s crazy not trying shoes on first, right guys?

hah! I read your first sentence and went oh $H!* lol. I literally had no plans to buy this thing until 3 min left in the auction and threw my bid in thinking no way this is happening. Sometimes you gotta jump! thx for the vote of confidence. I need it!

I think you got a good pig that hopefully drives well and is mechanically sorted. Not sure what is going on with this seatbelt though? Maybe the PO was trying to get a shoulder harness in place but I can't tell if that would work for the front or not. Too far forward for the rear seat but hey maybe that's what is was for? Not a major issue; just caught my eye.........that and the red tailgate access plate.

Thanks for the reply. The seatblets are actually soemthing I will need to get sorted sooner than later. i was thinking what's therer are the front shoulder belts and there are lap rears. hoping the fronts are funtional as is, but will attempt to mount to C pillar for real shoulders. The wife won't let the kids in there without that. Saw some threads about it. Might be just within my abilities;). Gonna find out real soon!

That's how the front shoulder belts are , non retractable. You're correct about the rear just having lap belts, but you could put the shoulder belt in.

Yeah, that's what I was reading. Gotta dig in pretty close on those threads and see if the pillar mount or up top like those current fronts are doable for me. Love the pillar mount for the back with the kids, but will probaly have to get some basic welding skills to tack a threaded bracket I fish down there for that to happen.
