CVT website is not user friendly. Finally got some specs for their Hardshell tents. Looks like there will be snow next week heading over to Bend to check one out and hopefully find one I like.

Hojack, what seat covers are you using on your front seats? Are they the SOR one? They look good!

Not sure they were in the 60 when I bought it. My dirty work pants have discolored my drivers seat.
They are nice and comfy. Thanks

I’d like to see this but for $1300-1500 I’m jumping on this deal.

Beautiful drive home from a job near Hood River. Got home and found package from Seatbelt Planet showed up.

Seatbelt Planet had a sale 17.76% off so decided to replace the front seatbelts too.

Figured since it was time to check the wheel spacers it was time to rotate all the tires and the spare.

Time for rear retractable seatbelts. My passenger side rear had a retractable but the retractor was under the bench and fold down seat. I knew I had the threaded C-pillar hole for the shoulder strap.

Installed shoulder strap first and removed the cargo paneling. Mine is due for replacement.

To make things easier and quicker I decided to go with external retractors
9CFA4C82-1C9F-4AE7-BE06-C2CFB1121003.jpeg

Most challenging part was figuring out how to get the nut on the bolt through body to the retractor. Fortunately I had some really good double sided Sticky tape.

Got the nut on the bolt and was able to use socket wrench to rotate and then an open ind wrench inside the body to the nut to get it tightened up.

The cargo panel needed some cutting around the retractor.

Seatbelt Planet sent me a generic rear retractable seatbelt set. Only issue was the fixed end off the retractor. The end was faced the wrong direction.

I can’t wait to deal with this so found a nylon lock nut to use as a spacer to move the belt hardware out enough for the belt.

Next was finding a good location to mount the fixed side of the retractable side of the belt.

My CVT road trip to Bend, Oregon to check out the Mt. Baker Hardshell Rooftop Tent. I still was not sure if I was going to get one. The recent snow that hit Oregon allowed both Timberline and Mt. Hood Meadows to open and so I figured HWY 26 over Mt. Hood would have bad traffic. Also route had snow on the road about 90% of the way.

The other route was over HWY 22 across Santiam Pass. This route was longer but was probably 70% snow covered and less traffic. Decided the southern route would be best.

Removed the Yakima Load Warrior basket and warmed up the 60 on a chilly 23F morning.
