She’s a beaut..
These blue trucks fade to perfection, like your favorite pair of jeans. GLWYB.
@Chungas Revenge The build thread title for my 861 Light Blue Metallic FJ60 references fading like a pair of jeans. It's very true.

I didn't choose blue trucks on purpose, they chose me.
@MDH33 I see how the linkage works now. I'll have to buy the cable and then maybe find or make a fitting to make it work. Thanks for the photos. I couple questions for you, since I'm a newbie:
1. I've heard about a plastic fan conversion. Is that a 60 fan that directly bolts to the water pump with the spacer? I don't see a fan clutch, and there wouldn't have been one with the metal fan.
2. The valve cover painted black with that patina is perfect. Is the lower part of your air cleaner red with rust? Looks great haha.
3. I was told 69s had no fan shroud. Did you make that one or steal it off another vehicle? Drilled holes in the radiator support?
4. What's the disconnected hose by the front engine hook?
5. Did you have to get an aftermarket radiator with a fitting for the overflow tank on the filler neck?
6. What's the skinny hose running under the overflow tank and under the lower radiator hose?
7. The single hose coming off the air cleaner top (right where it fits over the carb), where does that go? Valve cover breather?
8. When you have some free time, can you take a photo of the carb spacer/insulator on top of the manifold? I believe those are different for the mid-69 2bbl carb and the late 69 through 71 2bbl carb. I think Redline in Colorado Springs makes the mid-year spacer, so I'll need to poke around and find the later spacer. I don't even know what I'm looking for though.
No rush on any of that of course. Just putting it all out there for when you have time, or if others chime in. I've tried searching for the answers to a lot of these questions, but can't find anything definitive. I was even inspecting 68, 69, and 70 trucks at Classic Cruisers and making mental notes of the change so I know what I need to do and what
not to do, but there's so much minutia it's hard getting it all straight.
