I just tried this tried this old air filter out in place of the stock airbox and the power difference is unbelievable. Now I need to work on making up a bigger airbox for this thing that will work with a snorkel. Looks like there is a company in Australia that makes a nice set up but I imagine that shipoing is going to be a motherfuker

It is pretty straight forward. This is a 62 set up, just cut off the top leaving enough to get an elbow and clamp on it. 4" straight through. The bellows section is not doing airflow any favors either. I know that it is off the OEM set up but smooth tube creates better flow.

That looks nice. Have u done any drive by cable swaps?
 
That's what I read too. But I just bought a 93 cluster for 50 bucks so I will probably try to avoid using this module. I got ahold of a complete elocker setup, and the newer gauges have the locker lights.
i swapped tac. with one from 1996 and it is working now seating on dakota digital is IN-4 cyl OUT-6 cyl 519 set to LO and output signal on HI
 
Absolutely agree... I saved several hundreds dollar going direct to Marks.

Thanks for this advice guys. I just ordered my adapter from Marks yesterday, and DHL says it'll be here four days from now. Saved a couple hundred bucks vs. AA.

Unfortunately, the problem continues. I installed a corvette’s manual transmission program, but the issue is still happening. When I accelerate, it does not pass the 4000 RPM, but if I cut the ignition and turn it on again, it works perfectly. And if I cut it and leave it a few minutes, it stops the issue when turning on again
 
Was wondering about towing with a 5.3, if you put a 5.3 in your cruiser and have towed with it were you happy with it or wished you had gone 6.0? My overland trailer weights about 1800 pounds and I was wondering which motor, 5.3 is a lot cheaper just wanted peoples input thanks.
