Yeah I had the same thoughts! I went to Beno to get the gaskets he told me not available separately. So we removed the handles, carefully taped the gaskets and mechanisms and sprayed the handles. My gaskets were in surprisingly good shape. I think it really just depends where the truck has lived it's life. I know the gaskets on my 2006 LS430 from Texas are in much worse shape than the gaskets on this Oregon 1997 LX.

Hey Ryan, what did you have the body shop do with your door handles? I see them off in the primer/surfacer step. Were they able to remove the gaskets and then reuse them after separately painting the handles? I remember a post from cdan saying the colored handle and gasket were an assembly from mr t, so I just wondered how the paint shop approached painting yours.
Not much of the gasket can be seen but it is in such a noticable spot. Another good thing about a black truck, kind of makes the black gasket disappear.

You got it man! I have just been going to Evasive since my old Supra and GT-R days but I will let you know when I need some stuff!

And yeah that wheel looks good! I will give the polished aluminum some time to grow on me. Really I have already mounted it up so I guess it's mine but I just wish they would have sent me what I asked for. If they only knew the hours I spend pondering this little minutia haha.

Next time give me a ring Ryan when you need parts. Where's the love???
Love the Nardi's, here's a pic of my wheel in my SC.

Over 20 months in the making and the Hypertune Intake Manifold deal should all be worked out! I was working with Pete at Hypertune and was going to buy direct from him, but I wanted to give Nero the chance to make his cut since he helped me out so much with the rods and pistons. SO I called Nero up and he is having it added to his next big Hypertune shipment and I should have the 1st 1FZFE Hypertune Intake Manifold in the US in a couple weeks! haha.

If anyone is interested in one the original price was supposed to be $2800 with the current AUD conversion, but since it did not take as much time on the CNC machine as expected it is coming in around $2020 without the throttle body, if you are interested make sure you give Nero at Titan Motorsports a call ASAP. :)

I also have the cast aluminum front facing manifold available for sale for cheap if anyone would like to try it. Maybe $175 plus shipping??

This has been a long time in the making! Go look at the s*** manifold on the $80k Titan motorsport 1FZ and this will be much much nicer ;)

Dibs!

Intake manifold porn.....

I will take the manifold if Heckraiser changes his mind and decides he needs more  instead.

The pic is a little deceiving - are you running seat sliders?

Nope no seat sliders. The position will be setup for me! Both the driver and passenger front seats will be quite low and back a few inches.

The planted bracket is setup for sliders, but I am drilling and bolting the aluminum uprights straight to the brackets.

I've got to know what happens here.

Yes sir, trying to talk Planted into doing the same style brackets to mount to the factory rear mounts.

Still putting two buckets in the back?
