So priming before the body work is finished is normal practice. It is called a high fill primer, it allows the shop to spray a coat down and build up and low areas, it really fixes just very very minor flaws without having to use fiberglass, bondo, etc.
So really the holes were filled, the truck was sanded, the truck was primed, the truck was resanded, the little bit of fiberglass was laid down and then sanded again and then the truck will be primed and sanded again, and then the first coats of paint will go on. So I get that it's a lot of work but I was looking more at like the scuff and respray. Lol
