Can you get warm white or it is what it is? What i have now is pretty blue, kinda hurts my eyes but definitely bright. Thanks for putting this together for to 80's, i'll probably pick up a set from you to check out either way

Paul, just wanted to thank you for putting this together and I think your process and need to keep it simple is right in line. The payoff does not exceed your efforts and thats huge in my book.
This is without a doubt the best bang for a buck mod on my 80 to date...
I checked a local shop that installs all the lights on police cars Secert Service and other Fed agencies....they wanted over $200 bucks for a similar setup.

I would have to say that these are periwinkle summer cloud light white.
Seriously though, I think they are a cool white. There have been some slight variences in color noted on the 100 sales thread but overall people are very pleased with them. Please remember the price point. If I were selling Bosch-Philips nuclear powered bulbs at $50 a piece I think there would be a lot more room for drilling down on every minute detail. As it stands these are relatively dirt cheap and about 100,000,000 times brighter than the OEMs.

There is a full full thesis on every product that he sells and to be honest, it is probably a higher quality product. I had a guy on the 100 thread report back that light output is very similar though...
Damn...you 80s guys are a tough crowd. I'm going to have to buy an 80!

Just got my kit and they are way brighter than I imagined.
Although, my wife wasn't nearly as impressed. Her only comment was, "those are nothing but bug magnets!"

In other news...
I am sending out another 20 or so orders on Saturday morning. Starting to run low on inventory. Sold about 40 kits for the 80s thus far. Since I don't have a good feel for the 80s section, should I order enough for another 20, 40, 60 kits? Do large amounts of 80s owners usually jump in on group buys like this?

I would say so. Im definitely in for a set for my truck. I ordered a complete set of Nitro gears on here off a group buy and I was surprised at how many people jumped on board with that.

Fairly new 80 owner so I will check in the morning (Sunday) but believe I have the rear dome as well... in that case, I will take one #3. Will post order Sunday or Monday.

Got mine - they look really good and much brighter than stock. A couple didn't work at first, but then I realized I just needed to reverse the orientation to get the polarity right. Also, when I was firmly pressing the rear dome light module to get it to stick, I must have shorted something - blew a fuse. I do not hink it was the LED module, but rather the way I was pressing on the dome lamp fixture.
BTW, need to offer license plate lamp bulbs, as those are a great bang for the buck enhancement for looks.
